I do like the Pixel 5 but not for £599 at £599 it should be for a XL version. I will just wait for this one to drop in price. 765g is fine for 99% of people, who plays hardcore games on their phones, don't they have a computer/console?

Pixel 5 is not a flagship phone, will pay a price if it’s top quality,
My pixel 4 is good for my use, hopefully a pixel 6 will be a flagship with top specification

Google has played an absolute blinder released a phone which is financially within everyone's grasp good range of features..!
Free Bose wireless headphones in the package.. And minimum of 3 years with software updates and the purest version of the android software..
Samsung phones always have Samsung apps #Bloatware plus very limited updates.. They want you to keep buying new models... Google has updated even the pixel 2 to the latest software.
I think you guys are very wrong with your assumptions..!

I see that Google "dropped the ball", whatever that means 😒 That article attached to this poll was so POORLY written that gsmarena has also "dropped the ball", whatever that means as well. Typical reaction from people who can't be or don't want to be appeased. Some people are used to getting free stuff from Google like Gmail, photos, etc, etc. Google has THE most popular selection of applications on the planet that the most downloaded apps on IPHONE are from Google, but Google "dropped the ball". People want everything from Google for free because that's what they are used to. They complain that Google doesn't have everything and more of all the other phones out there and, the most important complaint, that google isn't selling such a device for pennies. Many literally feel entitled to Google's phones because of advertisements on chrome. Google could make a 32gb ram, snapdragon 1000, 1 terabyte phone with everything on it for $100 and your commenters would be like "but they don't have line green color" or "a hundred bucks? Google is so evil and greedy!"

In UK, I pre order priced at £599 comes with Bose QC35II bundle which is a fair price I would say. Especially I need a pair of headphones

The truth is that, unless you're playing some heavy duty games, these phones will be great for the mass market.
I don't think your aunt or uncle have a clue about the difference between an SD765 or SF865 and never will. They'll see a brand name they know, be told it takes good pictures and see the brand's latest top model at a more accessible price point than others. I think this will be a successful year for the pixel range.
Also in the UK, you get a free pair of Bose QC35's so that's a pretty significant sweetener, making the whole package VERY appealling. Looking forward to receiving my Sorta Sage one next week.

It is incredible that the Pixel 5, the more expensive of the three new phones, has a smaller screen than the Pixel 4A 5G and worse speaker sound than both the Pixel 4A and the 4A 5G.

According to these voters nothing is worth anything if it doesn't have specs of Note 20 Ultra and 11 Pro Max for under 200 moneys. Most of these voters can't afford more than half of the phones in these polls anyway which rarely represented the true picture of what people want to and/or will going to buy.

Pixel 5 and 4a 5G are just not good value for money. Pixel 5 should have been priced in between US$500-599 and the Pixel 4a 5G should have been priced in between US$400-499.
Pixel 5 is just a midrange phone that shouldn't be priced as high or higher than phones like Mi 10T Pro, S20 FE or the upcoming iPhone 12. It has a midrange chipset and it's camera doesn't even have a telephoto. The only difference between Pixel 5 and the 4a 5G is that the Pixel 5 has a slightly larger battery, 90Hz and btr build.
More people will probably choose to get the 4a 5G over 5 since it's much cheaper and both uses the same chipset, cameras. Also, they should have kept the tele in the pixel 5 and gave the 4a 5G a glass/aluminium build (if Xiaomi was able to give the glass back to Mi 10 Lite, which has the same chipset as Pixel 4a 5G/Pixel 5, and costs lesser)

I meant Snapdragon 845 with the Pixel 3. Heck, the Snapdragon 835 that a Pixel 2 and Essential Phone have is still fast enough and that was three years ago.
I would get a Pixel 5 for much better stamina though.

Google went from selling overpriced phones in premium segment to selling overpriced phones in high end segment.
They dont understand why a series sold so well, it wasnt because they were cheap but because the price for performance was great.
Pixel 5 is a decent phone but its a 100$ overpriced, just like 4 and 3 were.

I don't even like iPhone but I'd get the iPhone 12 mini for the same price as the Pixel 5. My Pixel 3 with its Snapdragon 835 is still more powerful than the 5 and I got mine last April 2019 for $450. I'm not spending $700 for a wide-angle cam. Not worth spending an extra $250 with a weaker SoC.
I'm good with my Pixel 3 for another two years. I'll get iPhone 12 mini to iMessage my fam.
