A great portable machine just got a much better CPU.

        There are supercomputers running arm processors. So to scale up to laptops / PC level is no issue.

        Arm is equally capable to x86, so long as there's incentive and developers willing to write codes for it, and hardware makers willing to create high powered cpu.

        Hope Mac silicon takes off.. would like to see windows arms with all kinds of arm processors.. kirin . exynos, qualcomm .. but i think intel will not give in soo easily.

          Did u EVER wonder why Ryzen built using x86-64 architecture?
          NO other architecture available could rival CISC ones; much less ARM's which uses RISC ALL THE TIME!
          The 'basic' requirement for laptop-grade SoC today is good CPU raw power with excellent power consumption; today ARM could do both, BUT RISC instruction set is not powerful enough to run CISC apps in real time (that's why they 'emulate' it; no emulation could do better than real time!)

                          Where did you find that 750E price in Europe for this model? I couldn't find it anywhere in EU but shipped from Chinese stores, which means more import taxes. Please do share. Thank you

                            Waiting for Apple's arm mac.

                            If it have performance, battery and less heat.. We may see Microsoft going Arm.. then the flood of arm based Windows huawei machines.. Kirin processors.. then the death of PC gaming and x86 programs.. woo.. interesting future

                                  Even 14nm processors are fast enough
                                  I5 8th generation is still pretty good to this day

                                      Beautiful looking laptop, I wanted 4700u laptop on market, but everything looks pricey.

                                      But this one's literally perfect.

                                      If Apple ARM laptops are the same price as this then the option will be even tougher
