the big irony in all of this is the following if you look at the Lg optimus range witch looks exactly like the samsung galaxy s2 and both looks similar to iphone well according to apple they do my point is that apple Only goes after samsung not the other manufacturers phones who looks the same asswell apple is threatened by the sucsess of samsung and the see that they are losing the battle against samsung and now they are going to court about everything that samsung manufactures in the phone industry whats next did apple design a phone that looks exactly like the Samsung galaxy s3 20 years ago and they are going to say that sammy copied the s3 design from apple asswell? This whole thing is just redicilous from apple really i mean look at other things in the world i someone brings out something that works and sells like hot cakes the rest copy them and theres no problem with that BUT APPLE Has A PROBLEM with everything and everyone besides themselfes they need to grow up honestly. Thats the whole point of beiing competetive if you desighn something others will copy and follow and if you want to be the best out there continue to bring out the best and in my opinion SAMSUNG has shocked the foundation of apple with the SAMSUNG GALAXY S3 it has a design like no iphone ever produced and it lets the iphone 4s looks stupid and mops the floor with it and now apple has nothing against samsung galaxy s3 to moan about and now they bring out this childish court cases its pathetic.

No wonder Samsung got sued.
With people being so dumb as to going into the store, trying out the tablet, signing for it, seeing it being packaged and then returning it because they didn't see "Samsung" written anywhere, thinking they were iPads.
Guilty or not, there's not much you can do with a square device. Even Vodafone has some tablets that resemble the iPad very much but I guess that's another story.

this is ridiculous!..buyers returning samsungs tabs bcoz they thought it was an ipad?! even my 4 yr old daugther can distinguish an ipad to a samsung tab. wats happening to the superiority of the homosapiens over other species? even a chimp can distinguish the difference... this is troubling coz by now the ET's are laughing at us coz some humans cant distinguish ipad from a samsung tab.

Only so many ways to design a rectangle brick.
Also no one got stressed when one gray PC from the 90s looked like every other gray PC from the 90s, so why now with something thats just a rectangular slab with a glass front??

The funniest thing about apple is that they just happen to sue Samsung but not things like Motorola or The HTC, why??? Cause when it comes to phones of choice i would go with Samsung. Like i own Galaxy s which i have had since last year and has never let me down, easy to install application, music, and also rom either custom or stock. Yeah Samsung is my phone of choice and not only me but also many many people around the world. Look at the geek their fave phones, the s1, s2, s3, note which happened to be the best and my next phone to get. Apple are just searching for a way to suck cash out of Samsung cause they know that Samsung is selling more than them and that people are leaving the 8iphones for the android.

Wait a minute.....This article says that in early 2010,Google warned Samsung that it's Galaxy Tab 10.1(Which was released a year later,did they design it so early?) should be different in design from Ipad (Which was released after a month)....My question is,how did Google know that Galaxy Tab would look like Ipad even before the first Ipad is out???

I don't understand why Samsung is having such a hard time dealing with Apple, I used to have a Galaxy S and now I use an iPhone 4 and they look nothing alike... Galaxy S looks like the iPhone 3GS or 3G but not 4 or 4S... Besides Samsung should just get rid of the home button on their phones and get some color in those things, I know people who would die for a red Galaxy S3(not the crappy red color Samsung has now), and green or yellow, purple.... I mean what the hell is a pebble blue for gods sake.... And besides Apple, come on there's only so many different ways a man can put a piece of glass on a plastic housing...

There may be APPLE only BUYER, but other need a phone that resembles APPLE.
APPLE never release the Product on the same time around the world, as in APPLE release the product in USA first then to other part of the world.
Thats where SAMSUNG gains,SAMSUNG release the products around the world.
APPLE"S FAULT = SAMSUNG'S GAIN.
