Are new mother boards launching as well? If I buy a mother board I'd prefer a completely new one than a compatible one from a year ago.

Daily driver issues - even after replacing the GPU with another model. Still daily crashes/black screens etc., even reinstalled OS. Went back to nVidia and literally ALL issues went away just like that. My 3900X and its X570 mobo are working pretty well, though. Their GPU's are just something I try to avoid at all costs, since all experiences have been full of unstability and other time-consuming nonsense. Curious how much these new CPU's improve gaming performance in reality, the top-tier model could be a really nice combo with an RTX 3080.

To this day, I never see AMD CPU cost more than Intel CPU. Same story with GPU - I found a Sapphire Nitro+ 5700 XT for about $500. Equally-specced Nvidia cost more than that.

They presumably think they can charge extra now cause finally they are the top dog in overall performance (st and mt) not intel.

2. The driver front of AMD's GPU's has improved significantly on Windows (it doesn't suck on Linux for the past decade)

I would never buy an Intel CPU at this point its just a waste of money at this point
