what do u expect?they release ics for 2011 lineup that no manufactures did it for all they phones and even for midranger and upper midranger like lg and samsung.but sony did.so i think sony made us horny for updates,and they shouldnt release ics for all 2011 phones to prevent these nagging. sony should port jelly bean for xperia s,p,sola,u,go,acro s,ion. i mean their 2012 midranger and high ends,and thats enough

All these devices are excellent in their own right irrespective of whether they receive the updates or not. One should also note that eighty per cent of android's base remains on 2.3 and 2.3.3

whoa...top 1 and top 2 of the fastest xperia phones from 2011 wont be getting jellybean
well, sony could at least make ics alot more stable for the 2011 phones...thatll be good enough I think
hehehe and ics, unlike jellybean, still has flash anyhow sooo its still good

it's marketing who will buy 2012 phones if you can run new os in older devices I have an neo v and I already rooted and currently on Xperia pureness rom and there are always guys at xda for jelly bean and cm10 so I don't care it much but if a dual core isn't getting ics then that's stupid

OEMs are going to sabotage Google's reign. Google needs to step up and impose some strict restrictions and guidelines. Otherwise, android's honeymoon will be over sooner than expected.

for me the worse is that the ICS update of my xperia pro is full of bugs and still no fix from sony,i don't want the jelly bean i just want a good ICS rom.
