THis is the problem of Android gang as a whole, hard ware companies dont use to doing software, they got it easy thanks to big daddy windows with their Direct X and backward compatibility in extensive driver set.
Google offer none of that, therefore all hardware drivers has to be rewritten from ground up by hardware makers themselves, therefore basically every maker has to employ their own resources to do identical work!
What google should do is establish an official hardware software driver optimization channel where engineers from all over the world working on various hardware can get support and nail issues together!

XDA guys will release Jelly Bean ROMs for 2011 devices BEFORE Sony updates 2012 phones with ICS....hehe!

And that is the reason why I hate android, it's always with the updates, they are not trying to make it better, more light and so on, but they are making it more unrefined and more hard to work on most devices, this is just wrong!

Sony should fix all the bugs. As soon as possible. Sony, while selling these phones had adevertised certain features which were broken due to the ICS update. And Sony should make sure they fix it.
Anyways, the lagging problems are there on all phones running ICS. Yea. All phones. Even those running the very speedy processors and things. It's a known problem with Android, which Google set to fix with the Project Butter on JB. Really bad that Sony 2011 phones are not getting Jellybean.

This is possibly the worst news I have heard in a long time.
Too bad. I was really looking forward to the offline voice input and project butter.
Now I ll have to get the unofficial version. Sigh :(
Anyways, no jelly bean, but we can still expect you people to fix the current ICS issues, can't we?

i was thinking of buying LG Optimus Black yesterday.
cause its price has been delined significantly.
you can buy the non-contract / unlocked version for USD200~210 here in my country.
but now i better invest my money on something else.

Now Android is all over, if all the phone manufacturer give up on Android, Google will do it with Motorola and that's gonna screw everyone out there except Apple. Right now, Windows Phone is not proven yet so everything will stay this way.

doniGforce, 27 Jul 2012my HD2 from 2009 got it yesterday :)every lg owner tell anyone you know how awfull LG phones are,that corp deserves the worst I want my money back but they will pay for their awfull actions,a gs2 is great on 2.3 but the 2x that I have is STILL stucked on bugs crashes and reboots.How on earth am I going to take back my money?LG mobile deserves to bankrapt!!!

That's why bought galaxy nexus .first to get os.running on jelly beans is so incredible and exciting. really smooth fast and lots of and features.voice search is far better than ios .voice is natural and lots of exact information.cheers.Google make phone with 4-4"3 inch mobile.big mobile is not my preference.
