Bought a pair of these on the promise of AptX Adaptive and LHDC. This is wrong, the headphones do NOT support these codecs. They may gain support for these codecs during an upcoming firmware update, but I haven't seen any information to this effect.

    JDK, 13 Oct 2020"Mi air 2 pro" Huh, I heard Apple has TWS earbud... moreOf course the name is a coincidence, they never mimiced Apples brand names before...

    Just check by yourself...
    * Mipad series
    * Micloud
    * Mimessage
    * Midrop

    That's a 100% coincidence 😉
    More seriously speaking, as a Xiaomi user I completely agree with you, Xiaomi does many great products but they have almost zero fantasy then it comes to naming their products. 😂

      If its gonna have aptX Adaptive codec, does it mean that I will be able to use them on my galaxy S8 phone which has aptX codec built-in?

          "Mi air 2 pro"
          Huh, I heard Apple has TWS earbuds with the name "airpods".
          Is this a coincidence?

          Xiaomi should come up with better names for their TWS earbuds.

                  LHDC is supported on Xiaomi phones. It ranks the same as ldac in quality.
