Xiaomi Mi Air 2 Pro TWS earbuds leak: improved ANC, new low latency codec

The Xiaomi Mi Air 2 Pro TWS earbuds have leaked yet again – instead of a hands-on video, this time we get a peek at official images of the buds plus more details about them, courtesy of Digital Chat Station.
The Mi Air 2 Pro will feature 12 mm drivers and a choice of aptX Adaptive and LHDC V3 audio codecs. The latter promises sub-100 ms latency, aptX Adaptive is a low latency codec as well (50-80 ms).
The active noise cancellation will be improved to 35 dB reduction, which matches Apple’s AirPods Pro. There will be a “transparent” mode to disable ANC temporarily.
Mi Air 2 Pro • Auto connect with phone • Several high quality, low latency codecs supported
The charging case has a USB-C port to fill its 500 mAh battery at 5W. Wireless charging should be supported as well. Each bud has a 55 mAh battery and can last 7 hours of playback (5 hours with ANC on), the case increases that to a total of 28 hours (20 hours with ANC).
5W wired charging for the 500 mAh battery • Wireless charging • Xiaomi Mi Air 2 Pro TWS headset
DCS teased the price of the Xiaomi Mi Air 2 Pro, it will be in the CNY 600-700 range ($90-105). The new TWS earbuds should be announced at a Xiaomi event tomorrow.
