ErceylanS, 15 Oct 2020What are you talking about??? I use MIUI, its full of bloat... moreMan it does.
Most Mui apps are same like in clear android phne just are made by xiaomi.
On other hand samsung use 2 different internet brownsers for zero reason.
Use samsung health app which haklf people dont need use or want.
They have a bixby and plenty of other useless features which gets in way cost a lot of space and cant be deleted.
Modern phones have plenty of disk space but low end devices dioes not.
In old times disk space was the biggest problem and apps which could not be deleted just disabled was a big problem.

In case of MUI yes there are some apps but most of them with a different naming can be found in any other cell phone. And the adds can be disabled from settings if you dont know how google it or watch youtube video.

AnonD-731363, 13 Oct 2020Man MIUI at least dont have tons of useless apps. And MIU... moreWhat are you talking about??? I use MIUI, its full of bloatware and not forget to mention adware (a huge no no)....
I have to place all its own preinstalled apps in another folder just so it dsnt bother me... Im also using Samsung UI currently as well, while setting up my phone I had the option to check off all the preinstalled apps.
So your statement doesn't make sense, or at least its outdated.

True, that too much gimmicks and animations inside the UI will make the phone laggy in time and consume more battery (see MiUi as an example).
But, imo, Samsung with its One UI is just in the middle. Also, it came a long way from its Touch Wizz early days. The problem with Samsung phones (at least entry level and mid-range ones) it's the hardware part (everywhere only exynos, and the entry level exynos are worse chipsets ever).

Still expensive 😔. Better to buy Poco f2 pro

And MIUI have a lot better and well polished skin updated many times even when adroid updates are no more for that cell phone.
Samsung is loaded with useless obsolette apps which not everybody needs or wants but al have them and must keep them no thanks.

Makes the plastic Note 20 so obsolette and in the presence of the S20 FE, the Note 20 is practically useless.

Boggy-Stefy, 13 Oct 2020Again these things like headphone jack or removable batteri... moreBoggy-Stefy, your arguement might support what you believe to be the best case scenario, but some people think that having these features is of a greater benefit then if they were to be removed for the sake of innovate and future proofing technology.

Removable batteries allow for you to exchange the battery immediately for a fully charged battery without having to worry about being next to a wall and bring your charger with you. There is also the arguement that you could use a portable charger, but those tend to be bulkier and take time to charge, plus you still have to worry about having power in the charger in order to charge the device you need to, so having a spare battery on hand seems to be the easier and vastly simpler option. Having the ability to do so dos also not necessarily need to compromise on other features like waterproofing, which past phones were able to accomplish (such as the Samsung Galaxy S5, among others).

As for the headphone jack removal, there are cases where people want to be able to use any headphones that they have with them with multiple devices and not need to worry about syncing them up and constantly keeping them charged. And on that point, with a lot of the smaller truely wireless headphones, their usable battery life ranges up to several hours for the best ones before they need to be charged in a little capsule leaving them nearly worthless. Therefore wired headphones that use a heaphone jack are that much more versatile in the ability to use them all day and with any device with a port.

In summary, just becasue you do find any uses for these specific features, it doesn't mean that others do not want to have them or use them if they were available, so there is no need to claim that people are just making excuses.

Anonymous, 13 Oct 2020No headphone jack, never buy. Note 10 Lite last decent ... moreAgain these things like headphone jack or removable batteries, seriously?

Bluetooth has come a long way and wireless headphones sound quality is up there with the wired ones. No latency or other problems in majority of new smartphones or headsets (equipped with Bluetooth 5.0 minimum). Yeah, if you are an audiophile, maybe there are some differences. But, nowadays everybody is an "audiophile", but they listen to downloaded mp3 files or to Spotify (lol). Or they buy some cheap 20EUR wired headphones for the "audiophile" in them (lol).

For the removable batteries, I mean c'mon, it cost 30-80EUR to change the battery in any smartphone nowadays (entry level to flagship). You pay 1000EUR for your favorite phone, but feel bad when you need to pay 80EUR for battery changing. And even that process is not mandatory for 2-3 years.

Talk about just finding excuses not to buy a phone.
