Micromax made lots of fake promise for software updates. do you think someone broke your trust, going to believe again? First of all do you think they have passion to make smartphone?
they are just passing clouds where they get profits from Indo-china issue (Think where was the Micromax last four years). Personally I will support which company has the passion and innovative ideas to make smartphone. Micromax I don't think so! Now there are no smartphone company available in India as of now.

Hopefully their quality will improve and there will be a possibility of after sales, and spares and repairs.

Good. If they only have good cameras and everything else, even if decent, will do well.
I believe most Indians want to move to products with an Indian heart, and not expansionist ones. And Micromax was also one of the pioneers of this movement.
