So people who might have bought Huawei all fleed to Xiaomi & Samsung? But why did most go to the Samsung? I suspect these are the normies who does not even know what Xiaomi even is... :I

It definitely feels like we're going to see non-Chinese phone makers leaning into Western marketing that emphasises they're not Chinese. Apple has noticeably stepped up their focus on privacy in their advertising, while Samsung can play up being Korean at a time where there seems to be a rising positive interest in the country from the west following its relatively successful pandemic response and the international growth of K-pop (driven by one particular act that Samsung have commercial tie-ins with...).
But also the remaining Chinese makers have a clear price advantage in markets that let them in, and that's a huge selling point with the economic damage from the pandemic. So there's a massive opportunity in Europe for Xiaomi in particular, at least unless and until they get the squeeze the same way as Huawei...

What if Samsung changed their lines up and pricing then what? Imn sure Samsung would have increased their sales too, like their changed their A series features and hardware which helped them sell more. Now the S20 FE will help even more

I just hope Trump gets "dethroned" and Biden restores business with Huawei back to normal. As much as anyone can call Huawei "Chinese spy", they made some insane designs and innovations in smartphone market.

Same as tesla, sell minute number of cars, basically only in America, yet their valuation is bigger than the 3 biggest, most profitable motor firms in the world combined, just another self stock trading con, it doesnt matter what you make, if you can con enough fools into paying massively over inflated prices for worthless bits of paper.
How many large American companies can you think of and name that a good, solid ethical and moral operation ?

Well what else do you expect, you have trump going after Chinese firms, while still aiding and abetting the South Korean mafias, of which Samsung is one of the biggest, to carry on business as usual.
Now, after Snowden etc,have we proof of which major world power has actually been caught repeatedly spying on its own citizens, its supposed trusted "allies" and anyone else it can gain access to and at the same time lieing to and back stabbing the same peoples and countries ?
And has also used government powered and backed industrial espionage since WW2 to further its gains and profits ?
Trump has been saggingl off China, has he ever offered any good, hard proof against huawei to back up his opinion ?
Has any gov anywhere published or released proof that huawei are any different to Nokia or apple or Western companies that are and have been doing exactly what trump accuses huawei of possibly being forced to do by Chinese gov if they insist ?
A massive case of the pot calling the kettle black.
I'm waiting for the big Chinese push back reaction if trump is "elected" again, cos so far it's just been tit for tat, but if he is "elected" again, I expect a massive move by the Chinese against North American countries, cos they ain't too happy with the Canadians either, for rolling over to USA pressure/threats and arresting and holding a top huawei exec.

Look at the price of Samsung M51 & 1+ Nord & then the components used in them, similarly 1+ 8T or S20 price - No way 1+ has a profit margin of 30%..
OnePlus hardly makes any money, I think BBK (Oppo & Vivo) is keeping it afloat from the money they earn from their 'selfie cam' phones..

Now the Chinese brand is backsliding again due to US political policies

Samsung gained share in sales because Huawei has issue with USA sanctions and Chinese India dispute. It is shameful knowing that Samsung discriminates users outside USA and South Korea by installing inferior Exynos and still pricing and marketing performance results of their mobile phones like Snapdragon is installed.
