Why so poor quality display? Can't Sony really make good quality LCD screen? How do they want to compete with others like HTC One X, that have high quality IPS screens?

If Sony can't make good screens they should be buying them from other companies.

            Hi guys,

Do this phone or the Sony Mint have an onboard radio? I don't mean via an app but a stand along radio. This will influence whether I will purchase it or not. Thanks, Dee.

I've purchased nearly every Sony Flagship phone since 1998,sometimes 2-3 a year, But I dont know whats wrong with them their letting me down . They need to work on their camera's Focus BIG-TIME. Its ruining everything. Look how Samsung n Apple use Sony sensors and have impeccable focus capabilities, making every shot look sharp and amazing for a phone. Focus and image noise are everything in an image, and frankly even Sony's 12mp in the Xperia S doesn't deliver the sharpness, colour saturation, nor the low level of noise that the Galaxy S2 is capable of. Why are you guys missing out the basics with your camera efforts? We expect better from Sony, people like me can't continue supporting your phones if everytime we get something that just doesn't deliver when compared to the competition, which in this case is a year older and 4 mega-pixel lower galaxy S2. Don't let all your cyper-shot knowledge go to waste like this, your supposed to build on your good attributes, not let them fade away till the point where you end up looking like a company who used to say they did good cameras when they don't know the basics, lets see you return back to your glory days, where you are the highest name in quality and innovation. Lets see you put a smaller version (after all, miniaturisation was your "thing") of the built-in optical zoom you use n your cybershot cameras into your flagship phone, and give the market a shock like you used to be known to.

Ahh.. I love seing user kept thinking A9 quad core better then duo core s4 krait A15. Not all s3 and one.x comes with quad core and they still release version with s4 saying lte support. I think its already prove s4 have equal pontential as quad core. You guys dont read the news?? Or just keep denied.. S4 better then quad.core? And bettery usage? I still not facing problem with 1700mah power.

This looks like a Samsung s2 copy.As usual Sony is late to the party and people are waiting for quad core phones A9 with the latest goodies and huge batteries.

I always get annoyed when I see people complaining on the lack of quad core phones in Sony's range of products. You benchmarking fanboys stop spamming on every phone that is not powered by a super-duper quad core. You won't get any better performance with a quad-core phone than you will get with a dual-core one. A lot of PCs with a dual-core processors run very well. A PC. There's nothing that a quad can do better than a dual in SMARTPHONES. Well, there's two things, actually: drains battery more and has a better benchmark result. Nothing else.

Regarding the bad viewing angles on Xperia phones. The screen beats AMOLED by everything else at any time. No problems with seeing thing on a bright sunny day.

However I've lived my life with products from Sony Ericsson, starting from K750 then moved to M600, P1i and Xperia X8 before finally I got a Samsung GS3. You can change your device but not for brand in your mind.

Now I have Samsung on my own but I'm still in love with Sony (Now w/o Ericsson). I'm proud if Sony release the best Android phone. Surely, I'll give this SGS3 for my wife and try to get Sony's product once they release a smartphone energized with at least 2.000 mAh of battery, large 4,7 inch of display empowered by a quad-core procrssor. A removable battery and micro SD slot are advantages for most current user.
