Cause it based on usage and how the user optimimise the setting. You wont get up top 8hour with full brightness, live wallpaper and havvy usage like playing hd games or watching movie and streaming. Not even with high mah can less more then a day if it not properly optimise the usage. I personally uses xps with good optimse setting and less need to play hd games the power can support up to 8 hour. In this cases i cant see any clear winner because the result will be diff compare other user.

You can read it at Sony Xperia S vs Samsung Galaxy S2 although the reviewer didn't get into it (why fearures such as high pixel density, 720p of screen res and bravia engine would drain battery faster) more detail.
Unfortunately I have no clue for your question. All I need to say is Sony doesn't manage this moment precisiously. They can do more but they don't want. Market shares outhere need Sony releases a new fresh product with better specs at competitive price.

Allegedly the Bravia engine and pixel density featured in SXS display (at 342 ppi) make the battery drain faster. As we know that LT29i display also has the same features with Sony Xperia S, even with bigger screen, I wonder why don't Sony try to make a more sophisticated device. Apparently the only big selling point of SMC is a 13 MP rear camera. They let their best chance missed and they don't learn much from their own experiences.

As we can read at previous GSM Arena's review The 1.750 mAh of Sony Xperia S easily beaten by Samsung Galaxy S2 powered by 1.650 mAh. Hence, bravia engine technology in collaborated with 342 ppi pixel density from Sony make the battery last rapidly especially in Talk Time and Video Playback. As we know that LT29i display also equipped with both features, it's the time when the corporate to incerease battery life of its latest device. For more than a decade Sony (Ericsson) battery problems become a big issue. They didn't learn much from their own experiences.

Oh by the way, the LG Optimus 4X HD has a 2150 battery and barely gets through the day, I know as I bought a white version from Amazon.de!

I think... more1700mah with duo core s4 krait and 4.6inch display are just equal with 2100mah quad core and 4.8/4.7 inch ( samsung)htc) the main reason sony used 1700mah because s4 krait already shows power efficient compare quad.core. But if.it compare with motorola razr. The award goes to motorola.

Maybe people with eyes desease have this color error. Dont blame the devices but might see the doctor for eyes fix.

Very bad viewing angle on these displays don't mean privacy, as anyone can still see what you're watching, reading or writing. Just the colors will be way off. You need a privacy screen protector - which will make your screen look eve worse - to do that job.

Most of you asking why Sony Ericsson logo instead of Sony because its a mobile for test and may used for design making. It will take more months to create design. Don't worry only we will get Sony logo with same design.

Dual-core Krait is enough for anything, but watch out for battery life. Sony always sucks there, i don't know why they don't provide proper magnitude of battery in any of the phone.
