A 4.6 inch of display powered by 1.700 mAh battery? I think this phone couldn't beat HTC one X and SGS 3 in battery life. I think Sony Mobil Corp. should consider this point. Slim design is quitely important, but battery life also has its own role. Well, Hopefully SMC would release the better device next time.

View angles?? Confuse are we buying a tv or smartphone? If its smartphone.. not big issue for me. I love when people cant see what i see in my personal smartphone. :-)

i just hope that some of the good Sony Phones that are only exclusive in Japan that have good features will be release internationally such good phones should see the daylight of international market though in marketing perspective slider phones and clam phones are already a big gamble considering most countries prefer smart phones that are bar type. Although in Japan (some) still favor the slider and clam type for their smart phones

i think this one's for real guys, check out this site http://www.sonymobile.co.jp/ some of the Sony phones in Japan that are unique and exclusive to them in Japan are still carrying the Sony Ericsson name

Have been waiting for this...I don't need a quad core phone, a good dual core would suffice, and this looks like a good dual core phone to me.

everything z cool but the gpu z not that great better they wud have came up wid adreno 325 which kicks mali 400 out in benchmarks... cpu, cam, display n rest all specs r cool...

Agreed that viewing angles don't matter at all, especially if you value your privacy. I don't understand why review sites keep focusing on non-issues like this.

On-screen buttons waste so much space and are not ergonomical. Bring back true hardware buttons!

i hope this phone will be at par with samsung galaxy s3 or htc one x. sony's recent products have been a disappointment. either in design or lack of features or simply too expensive compared to its much more superior rivals.

Perhaps Sony will learn soon, and come up with phones which have better displays from next time. Just hoping. Other than that, this phone is great. It looks awesome (IMO), and has enough power (I hope). And the software will be nice as well, unlike those by Samsung which has very poor software.
But obviously, Sony need to be more aggressive in market. Else people will not leave their Samsung SIII and buy this one. But many might have bought an SIII selling the Xperia S.

removeable battery, same as arc and arc s ba750, great.
mixed feelings about no hdmi, was pretty convenient with micro hdmi, mhl is next best option though
i hope they have an official dock like the ion, then that would be even better

A little bit of fun there and I'm called a 'troll' -... moredude duo core s4 krait are the best processor out there beat quad core. it has more power and energy saving. plus its base A15 not like current quad core A8 base. just because your xperia play wont recieve ics update, it wont makes you being categories as a "cave man" in android world sony offer the most higher pixel in camera and the highes dpi among smartphone and now come with s4 krait which is everyone fav processor. iam using xps with no sd slot but still can have more then 20HD games. :) and now with ics.

atleast, with me, sony is the best company with customer care. Today, on their offical blog, they said 'all device will get jelly bean' (xperia 2011 too). Oh yeah

I want to own the best phone in the world branded as sony, not samsung, not apple, not htc. Unfortunately sony can't provide one.
