Why Redmi is still not able to rectify the issue regarding inability to disable the auto dial through the sim used before. On a mere touch call to the contact proceeds after 5 seconds

Also not to mention Mi 10 Ultra and K30 Ultra freezing in lock screen and K30U popup camera left open in early MIUI 12 build (seen in FB a Weibo vid).

Received flobal & stable MIUI v12 around 800MB on my MI Mix 2 last weekend. Phone is running fine, only compliant why Android version is still 9 & Android security patch version still 01-Sep-2020.

Do you realize Android users are beta testers twice? First on Google's end when they release stock Android to vendors and then vendors themselves bolting tons of crap on top? Not to mention there is bazillion phones released just by one vendor where Apple releases 5 phones a year and that's it. I'll never believe that Xiaomi can better support all those vastly different phones than Apple can their basically identical 5 models. But muh iOS is all broken beta testers nonsense. Just no. Have you even used an iPhone? I do. 2 years now and bunch of updates. I always update the moment they are out and never had any issues. If anything tiny inconveniences that I never reported get sorted out. And that's now after 2 years since iPhone XR launch. If I had Android and there were issues, it's likely I just never would've got any updates for it coz they'd terminate them as part of usual planned obsolescence coz they really want you to buy "new" flagship they release every year. Apple does that too, but at least doesn't force you. I've gone through two newer iPhone launches and both time I was like "that's nice" and decided to just be with iPhone XR coz it works great. And since I get timely updates, I don't have the outdated anxiety. Coz I know I still get all the cool fancy major new features and security updates. Even if some specific new features limited to only latest brand new phones don't trickle down on mine, I'm fine with that. Being stuck with 1 or 2 versions older OS like you always end up on Android as whole, however isn't. And unless Android phones get this sorted out it's unlikely I'll ever return. Even "pinky promise" 3 years by Samsung are so sad they just can't convince me. Not at the same price tag as iPhones. Coz vanilla Galaxy S20 costs the same as brand new iPhone 12. One gets pinky promise 3 years of updates and inferior chipset coz I'm from Europe, the other gets guaranteed 5 years and same flagship chipset as the rest of the world. Guess which I'll pick...
Apple is smart in this regard. With Androids people are jumping between brands because vendor's lack of loyalty to user doesn't create any loyalty from user's end. Where with Apple, they commit supporting your device long term and a lot of people commit sticking with Apple as a result knowing they can stick with device for years and not be left behind. Only biggest Android fanboys are pissing on this instead of embracing it and demanding Android phone vendors to do better and support devices for longer with official updates. With our entire lives and finances on our devices, I sure as hell want to have it as up to date as possible.
