This info seems just a hoax. In my opinion, Samsung will not take steps that can harm consumers. Like cell phones, cell phone chargers and earphones also have a limited lifetime. Not to mention the evolution of chargers and the problem of fake chargers.

Saving environment ??. If they care for environment they should innovate and make ne product that serves all purpose but then how will they make the dollars which makes them multi million dollar company what's next phone out next year and telling us you do have the phone from last year , just add the updates and give us 1000 dollars of your hard earned cash and consider yourself blessed.

So are you saying you want to pay $100 more to have charger and earphones included in the box?
I don't know about you but i'm very happy with pricing of new iPhones, just like majority are. While android companies raise their prices around $100 for adding 5G, Apple kept same pricing with pro models than last year and wiped the floor with all android OEMs. How anyone can think this is a bad move? Even if you need charger they sell you one with $20. Still you are winning $80 by this move.
