Read up on some history. Android was created as a ripoff of iOS originally.

Apple leads other companies follow. Apple removed 3.5mm earphone Jack in 2016 now most high end smartphones do not have 3.5mm jack. Apple smartphones no longer come with charger and earphones S21 may not come with charger and earphones.

Solution : stop buying Samsung ! and Apple.
Why to pay 1000+ dollars to these producers , when you have Xiaomi and Oppo for half the price and similar performance ? Oh, they also add a charger in the box , even the new ones at 65 watts :)

This is ridiculous. Who's going to buy a phone without chargers and headphones, they're hinged to deliver with the device you're buying. Why would you buy a new phone and have nothing to charge it with... Then everyone's going to buy a cheaper charger and they're not going to have a good charge, a very bad move that first made the iPhone they don't have to dig up that junk.

sa11oum, 28 Oct 2020Who's surprised? Come on, raise your handNot me, I like Android phones, but I also know for a fact that they always copy wherever move apple does. Only when Apple left the notch as it is, they started working on ways to play with it. But Apple changed how the cameras on the back are arranged? Check most Android phones now..
I honestly freaking hate it. That's not to mention how Chinese companies like Oppo literally copy how iOS looks on all of its phones.
This didn't use to bother me that much, but I'm reaching a point where I feel like Apple is the only somewhat "original" smartphone manufacturer. You don't see this shit in the laptop world.

So, Samsung was mocking Apple on their social networks because of the "no charger in box" thing but now they are going to do the same? It makes no sense.

If this ever happened, hopefully the charging cable is the same as most phones used on their phones. The big problem with the IPhone 12 is that they uses a USB-C to lightning cable which you will already have only if you bought the IPhone 11. Not everyone upgraded their phones every year

Jasper5774, 27 Oct 2020I get your point but the charging time difference between t... moreThe charging time varies a lot, the only reason u don't see a big time difference is because the battery in new flagship phones are bigger. hence the charging speed isn't that big of a difference.
What you prefer doesn't mean what others prefer too, for me faster charging is the way to go, just don't charge your phone over 90% and it will last solid 3 years without issues, for me fast charging is important, as i would wanna top up before i leave for work and uni.
If u look into the finer details of the tech, it is not visible to non science people, but increasing the watt isn't that easy, lot of heat build up, and risk of explosion and to minimize these risks, lot of engineering input is provided, such as OnePlus charger which licensed from Oppo, doesn't heat up the device but the charger itself, as it inputs more current rather than volt. In a sense, the charging speed is fast, safer and your battery won't be hampered.
Removing the charger from the box is stupid, lot of people when they upgrade their phone will sell their old device, and they have to buy a new charger for their new phone, and the battery/charger tech changes and u need a new version of charger... Apple is doing this for profit not for the environment.

I would welcome this if this meant that the final price of the phone would actually be cheaper but unfortunately, we all know that's not going to happen.
