There are way more people that multitask between their different apps. Say you are typing a doc, but you get a message, and maybe you need some ideas for your doc, so you open the browser, etc. You get it. You would still like to switch seamlessly between them without having them refresh. Be kind.

I just migrated from galaxy s10 to Xperia and the phone amazes me. Unlike apple or samsung, sony dont spend a lot on marketing. Thats why people like you think they are dead. Do your research and dont get fooled by marketing hype.

Bought the phone, it's ok strong phone, nothing special and missing a lot things comparing to my old Samsung. Yes, I can install different things, but I expect more from Sony

Snapdragon 865 based phones ... moreThe problem it's that even if the 865 runs ok after 5 years OLED screens and batteries won't, yes you can change those parts but most people who can afford a 1000usd smartphone would get a new one instead of start changing parts, now if they give you that for the same price we'll that's fine by me, but I would prefer better and faster ram instead of more ram in this case (if that would be an option), since 8gb it's more than enough for a smartphone.

The software automatically downgrades depending on app or game used to conserve battery.

The 4K will still have more than 6 million screen pixels working.
It just render apps at lower resolution.
Why do you think S20 loses 25-30% when it goes from QHD@60 to 1080@120?
No, 6GB is more than enough.
Only dumb ppl leave 100 apps open.

Remember Xperia XZ Premium the only one to outperform S8, OnePlus 5 with only 4GB RAM, even iPhone 7 Plus, while others have its on-board of 6-8 gigs. Imagine with 8 to 12 on Sony. Your favs ended instantly 😏.

2nd statement: Hopefully you HRR stans that getting too brave are now happy that Sony will unlock the 120Hz screen on the lower resolution (1096x2520) for 1 II, and I partially tease Qualcomm for not upgrading the capabilities of 4K above 60Hz on already very-powerful Snapdragon 865 when 4K already supported since the infamous thermodynamics issues of Snapdragon 810, 5 years back then, just because Sony is the only one utilize 4K all the time. And when we mentioned 120Hz on Xperia X Series, you guys getting even too brave with that, proving Sony already plant 120Hz a long time ago. Sigh... 🥱
