This is a great move from apple because google has now doesn't care much about users privacy like apple does for their users and google is now running a monopoly of doing anything that they want and if company like apple will come in to competition of search engine it would be a great thing for users and many people will eagerly waiting for apple search engine

Anonymous, 28 Oct 2020since you read a website like gsmarena i suspect that you a... moreApple doesn't really need high numbers because it's heavily optimized only android phones are competing against each other in the numbers race and have noticed that Apple doesn't care about android in their demos they compare the new iPhone with the older one not other androids, and yes I'm using an iPhone, heck I'm using an iPhone 6s with the new update (updates go a pretty long way) and it runs perfectly I don't know if I can that about the android phones that came out in 2016 that still have android 8. I can even run call of duty on medium graphics and high framerate with no stutters because of ios 14. So I don't really care about what you tell me about
my phone.

One of the reasons NOT to use Android is because of Google. I simply don’t agree with the term that in order to use a smartphone you should give Google your life. I will be looking forward to Apple internet search.

Apple's claims about respecting privacy have always been disinformation. Even in the quote in this article, Apple only says they don't build profiles on their users specifically for advertising purposes or to sell the information to third parties. Apple does not say that they don't build profiles in general, because in fact they do.
More importantly, Apple is mostly in the business of selling hardware and creating a basic operating system for that hardware. But the purpose of that hardware and OS is to serve as a platform for people to use all the apps and services they love, i.e.: Facebook, Google, Instagram, Tik Tok, WhatsApp, etc. So Apple is 100% complicit with and dependent on the privacy violating services they criticize. Apple builds the hardware so that other companies can use it to violate your privacy.
Apple's argument is basically like a company that builds prisons saying: "We don't imprison people and we are opposed to that. We just build prisons. What the administrators of those prisons do with them is up to them."
