Alan, 10 Nov 2020 I dont understand why everyone keeps mentioning S21 as Sam... moreOmg you can't be even more wrong than you are right now. Huawei was the one that copied Samsung from the curved display to creating their own chipset to the launching of multiple mid-range devices to even the pricing on their flagship offerings. The only original aspect of their phones is their collaboration with Leica for their cameras.

And how can Samsung be the desperate one when they're not the one with US trade sanctions, their processor business is expanding, their display business is at the front of the field, they're able to maintain production of important components when the rest of the players are struggling amidst the pandemic, and their recently launched note 20 ultra (not the vanilla note 20 because that one is a disappointment) and s20 fe are doing really well in the market. So no. You're completely wrong.

Alan, 10 Nov 2020 I dont understand why everyone keeps mentioning S21 as Sam... moreThey called it S20 because it was released in 2020.

I dont understand why everyone keeps mentioning S21 as Samsung Flagship? If any Samsung has been the greatest copycat of Huawei thereby making the next flagship to be named S30. If there is a S21 why not just named current version as S11 instead?

So is 300 billion Galaxy whatever models not helping the cause. I never liked that and I never touched that and ever since their primary Galaxy S line is this bizarro expensive ridiculousness I'm not touching those either. They can't even outright say, this and this product range will have extended software support. No, they just mentioned they sort of support 3 years of updates now. With big fat asterisk at the end that leads to nowhere. I'm actually surprised people still buy their confusing arbitrarily supported junk. And I sure as hell won't pay freaking 900 to 100€ just to get inferior chipset and bunch of cut corners coz normal S just can't eat into their stupid expensive Ultra line. Ugh. It's so bad Samsung hasn't dropped on my radar for years when picking new phones. They are so overpriced and so meh it's unbelievable.

Which might stay restricted. The unnecessary bans that affect their smartphone business will come to a halt though. That is my prediction anyway.

Maybe the expedition of that VP apprehended in Canada will also speed up once Biden is in charge.

That should be really easy task to complete, just came new data. Huawei dropped to 4th place in EU by Xiaomi overtaking them. Huawei share is now 12% in EU. In just one year their share dropped almost half from 22%. Huawei just dont have market outside China anymore, Huawei is only hanging there because they still have those over year old GMS phones in the stores which are selling ok. But those sales are close to end now and then comes a really big drop.

Samsung is desperate right now. They know Biden administration is gonna remove the Huawei bans, and then Huawei is gonna make massive sales like they used to.
