Photos of alleged WP8 Nokia surface, seem pretty dubious

07 August, 2012
The photos show a Lumia 900-like smartphone, but with a curved display and the new homescreen.

Now really. Designing apps for WP will be a good business too. They don't need to give everything away for free.

I really hope they will announce something with PureView technology and Nokia Rich Recording. I'm amazed with Nokia 808 picture quality but unfortunately - this is not a cameraphone but rather a camera with a dumbphone option. I need the possibility to browse the web swiftly and 808 is not a device that provides this experience. You could even change the Symbian Belle OS to something better but you can't change the ridiculous 640x360-res screen.

Android is a more open system, but it drains out battery very fast.
W8 is better in battery life.

The Lumia 800/900 is one of the most beautiful smartphone designs, and I am an iPhone fan. I am looking forward to owning the iPhone 5, along with a Lumia that runs WP8 whenever it launches. What a combo!

i love windows phones.. but this is not a wp8 prototype device.. it's unlikely that they'll release one without a front camera.

Windows phone are nice and working smoothly, the only thing stopping me from getting one again just because of the restriction/limitation ... exactly like iPhone!! iPhone's reception quite weak, whereas most Nokia phones (especially their high end devices) have very strong reception.

A friend of mine pointed out yesterday that her Nokia N8 has got much better reception compare to her iPhone 4s and her Galaxy Note. Although her N8 is the oldest phone of the trio, she think that it has the best camera, she also said that when she click into fb, she can do pinch & zoom where it's not possible with her other 2 phones. ... I'm not a fb user, so no comment on this issue.

this phone might be true..or it might not be..
but it's still not a device for geeks.
I was an avid fan of Nokia, but with the emergence of android I've left all that in the dust..
                                      yeah...even that crap iPhone.
