You would be sure that intel sells more chips, and they use 10nm instead of 5nm, and that is cheaper.
Plus, I never expected such a deal on laptop from Apple before. It's incredible.

The entry level MacBook Air sounds good. If M1 is at the same level like i5 then it will be a great value. The problem is I can do everything I need on my iPad and I don’t really need a pc.

Aren't there still PC laptops with 20 hours battery life around? I remember one years ago, with around 100 hours.

Apple is a true master of marketing. I wouldn't trust a single claim they make until proper review is out.

But this looks promising. Just can't say about those Macs reliability, and honestly... Cheaper than an iPhone? LOL

They excused intel and other parts for higher price!!!SO, what's they excuse now!!! It took not more than $20 to produce M1 and they're charging $1000 for Air? Very greedy capitalistic gaddar (A hindi word).

Lacus Clyne, 10 Nov 2020Hope their will be a APPLE STORE in Philippines!Sadly to say, the Philippines is considered to be a 3rd-world country and not known to be a strong market for much of nothing and its GDP per capita is very low, etc.

Don't hold your breathe on it.

Also to mention many apps by Google and Facebook won't be available at first. Some apps are designed for portrait only so they'll look bad when window is maximized. I guess all mouse gestures work alright on iPad, so do keyboard shortcuts too. But it'll get there eventually, just at start it there won't be many apps that will work flawlessly.

Now replacement parts can cost two kidnies since it's almost entirely Apple made parts now
