Samsung Galaxy S21 Ultra to support S Pen, tipster claims

12 November 2020
It would be a monumental shift from the Galaxy Note to S-series.

Sort by:

Samsung should rename the S21 Ultra as the S Note and give it a more square-like design and the S Pen must be inbuilt

Anonymous, 14 Nov 2020Why S pen in t?! What will be the different with note nd S?!Samsung will slowly phase-out Note Series and Bring the Fold / Flip Series in place of Note.
although, this might take couple of years to happen and i reckon the transition shall be smooth and slow. Samsung will not pull out the plug all of sudden , like apple does.

we have already seen the strategy in motion.
    - This year note has only 2 variants and the lower variant is not at all 'note-worthy'
    - The Ultra variant is priced lower than the S20 U
    - Introduce pen ability to S21 and analyze user sentiments / reactions
    - Release 1-2 iterations of the Note series in the same fashion (read as position it lower than S series)
    - At the same time Improve the Fold / flip series as secondary flagships

this is best decision from Samsung, removing one flagship either S or Note is way to go forward as Samsung already have 3rd flagship, the Z Fold.
Note and S became identical in most recent years, only S Pen was the defining difference.
I'll be happy to grab S21 if it comes with S Pen.

[deleted post]This is a phone not an tablet! You'd loose the pen in a heartbeat when "attached to the side". Aren't you smarter than this?

2nd if this is true, they might name the next fold a new Note, I think it makes sense, the note series are more popular, and most casual people don't know about the fold series (not their existence but their purpose), so meet the new galaxy note (fold or 21 or whatever), it will sound better and more familiar forost people.

Ice Universe has never "guessed" anything right. It's most likely a FUD account.
