15 November 2020
The iPhone 12 mini may push Android makers to build small phones again. Or maybe consumers just want to go bigger and bigger.

StarterX4, 15 Nov 2020It probably will be Xiaomi Mi 11They went on a bad trend last year making their phones huge, heavy and very bulky, plus the curved edges. The sales went much down in comparison with mi 9, mi 9T pro and mi 9 SE, which were all top hits. Not to mention that their prices in Europe were crazy, at Samsung S20 level, offering way less.

Snehit, 15 Nov 2020Screen size should always be less than 5 inchWait until you reach 40.

I have a S20 with 6.2", it is perfect to hold in the hand, same goes for iPhone 12. But for media content I sometimes wish it had around 6.4". Sadly no phones in this size, the S20+ is a whooping 6.7", too huge. I tried for a few months a Xiaomi mi 9 with 6.39" (my dad's current phone) and it really has the perfect size.

Around 6 inch screen is ideal. Less then 71 mm Width for me.

Few years ago, when I used a 6-inch phone I complained a lot because it was so big and I needed two hands to use it properly. So I bought an iPhone 5s for one-handed operation. Then I found out later that even with that small iPhone, I still typed messages with two hands even though I could reach all parts of the screen with just one hand. So I went back in using a 6-inch phone for easier typing because the keyboard was much bigger.

As big as possible. I use my phone as a laptop replacement so the bigger the screen the better

Around 6 inch screen is ideal. There are non to be found. For me Width should be less then 71 mm. Will not buy above it.

I remember the days when Apple was pushing gadgets to smaller and thinner, until one day, I found myself watching a movie on a 1.5" screen. And I thought: "Well, this is stupid." It's been all about screen ratio for me ever since, and as foldables continue to mature, I'm not going back to small.

5.9-6.5 is a massive range, should've been broken down

Hanif Fikri, 15 Nov 2020Smaller display is bad for eyes...i prefer 6.7-6.9 inches..Who said that? I see no proof about that unless if you are talking about high PPI, which I can believe.

5.8" is now considered small? Sad what the market has become. Sub-5" is small, 5-6" being midsized and 6"+ being large. 7"+ are tablets!

5.8 - 6.5 is just too broad of a category. Personally I prefer 5.8-6.1 inch as it's the sweet spot for a phone

6.1" Display is perfect for me.
                                        Size-wise it may be 150 × 74 × 8.5 m.m. is OK for me .
