Anonymous, 15 Nov 2020Yeah... Truue ... The Maximum Screen size shd be 6.2"... moreit does not mean that nobody needs something you dont...
i have 21:9, 18:9, 16:9, 15:9 phones and only 16:9 and 21:9 are standards for most contents...
same with sizes...
i even have "keypad phones" with small displays, for touch enabled phones, i have from 3.5inch to 6.5inch and are still useful depending on the priority i prefer on some cases... sometimes i want to have a phone that is small enough to carry that it can fit to even my shirts pocket, sometimes i want the bigger one when i need to browse and watch video clips or full length movies...
, apple seems to know about diversity of people and wants to get a slice of such diversity, even pricewise as they also offer "cheaper" alternative

I hope for a follower of the Galaxy S10e (Galaxy S21e) with 5.8'' screen max. If small phones would be thicker, implementing of bigger batteries and keeping the f...ing headphone-jack would also be no problem.

We have had smaller mobiles with tiny font, unreadable content, you can't use keyboard for typing.....QHD+, 6.8-6.9 inches, AMOLED, no notches, preferably no big curves, in screen fingerprint scanner.....screens are the primary interaction point besides the heart which is SoC, has to serve its purpose. Aged people like to view content in larger screens. I feel Mate 20 Pro, OnePlus 8 Pro are reasonable in holding it in hands. Only major issue with larger screen displays is, with cases it is sort of difficult to hold continuously in hands. In that I like Galaxy Flip which has the advantage of foldable, easy to hold 6.7 inch main screen, though I prefer to have another 3.5 inch screen in the back as well.

Completely bogus poll.
Footprint of the phone is not taken into consideration.
OnePlus 8T: 6.55" screen (160.7 x 74.1 x 8.4 mm)
Asus ROG 3: 6.59" screen (171 x 78 x 9.9 mm)
Galaxy S20: 6.20" screen (151.7 x 69.1 x 7.9 mm)
OnePlus 8T despite having same size screen as ROG 3 is much easier to handle.
S20 despite having 0.3" smaller screen is a lot more compact than the other two.
Plenty of phones with 6.1" or 6.2" screens where buyers think that size is too big but when you hold it in the hand they are a lot more compact.

I may well be a total sucker for small-sized smartphones, but having a smartphone with a screen size of between 5.9" to 6.5" is more than alright for me. Heck, any higher than 6.3" is considered overkill to me. That strikes a perfect balance between screen size, battery capacity, and phone thickness. The reason why I'm not upgrading my current LG V50 with the DualScreen case to the newer V60 is that the V60 is BIG AF! I like the V50 size more than the V60.

6.5" comes into taller phones territory... Nobody needs 21:9 phones... 18.5:9 is perfect

Currently using a 6.67 inch phone ...but really want a big screen phone like 7.5 or 8 inch. Big screen phone's will be better in gaming , watching movies , editing photos .

I refuse to let go of my Pixel 3, but even that feels too large sometimes. With the direction Google has been moving lately, I am more and more inclined to part ways with Android and try a 12 Mini instead.

I think you should have put between 5.9 and 6.1 and maybe more options. There's a huge difference between 5.9 and 6.5.
