Motorola Photon Q is good but I think screen is too thick. Qwerty will be qwerty.

Bugger! I just bought an SGS3 last month because my old Desire Z's battery was bad and I couldn't find a replacement battery. I'm longing for a physical keyboard now. I may consider switching if it becomes available on Bell.

YES!!!! Thank you, Samsung! I've been waiting for the Gingerbread update for my Sidekick 4G. This is much better news!
I will gladly spend my money for this. A Galaxy phone with a QWERTY keyboard. :-)

Hope they don't make it a weaker twin like they did with the glide and limit it to the US. FM radio and global sales would be good too. Something to take on the droid and replace the E7. Although it looks a bit too soft (feminine?) for me. Anyone else concur?

Great! Only query is why the RAM is dropped to just 1 GB instead of the proper 2 GB allocation. A keyboard-equipped S3 is likely to be us as a true tablet/laptop replacement so should actually be higher specified than the "slate" versions.
