Here’s the response of HTC when I inquired on the availability of 4.04 and Jelly Bean for Asia… I can’t believe it will take that long..

We are still in the process of testing these updates to the HTC One family series will be more widely available in the 4th quarter of the year or 1st quarter of 2013. Please note, once we start pushing out updates it will take time for all carriers in each country to get the update. We are working closely with our carrier partners to nail down update schedules for our other smartphones and will have more to share very soon. You can check this on Settings > About Phone > Updates.

I find it a bit sad that Samsung are planning jellybean update for the S3 in August-September, and HTC still haven't managed to release the 4.0.4 for many regions.
My hox is htc_ara, I got it in Jordan for the Arabic support and still no update. Well, I guess we know which phone is going out of the window when S3 gets the jellybean!
I would flash a custom rom, as there are some cool ones out there, but haven't got a clue where to start!

Still waiting for update in India.HTC one x surely better than other android phones .Owned a Sony xperia x10 previously waited for 2:3 at that time and when it arrived it broke my phone completely.

Bought my phone from Dubai Duty Free, and using it in UK. my phone doesnt seem to check and update my phone to 4.0.4 android version.

i think htc one x will get update around the world... this is time matter... be patient to wait... i think asia are not going to be 1st the to deliver the 4.1 jb update..

I believe that for Htc One X sense 4.1 and ICS 4.0.4 update was released in Europe on 10 August 2012. I want to know when it will be released in Asia, why is this discrimination among Asian Htc phones. Even we paid the same cost as the people in Europe did. I just did not pay so much to get unsattisfied with my Htc One X device. There are so many issues with my phone like wifi issue, message bug, phone lags all the time. I have heard that all this issue get fixed with new update and hope so. I believe that i will be getting a proper reply for this query of mine. I dont want to hear any excuses.
