Could be named Xperia 5C similar to the new A7C camera. I hope they skip 21:9 for this one, and just make it 16-18:9 format and same width as Xperia 5 II. Only dual lenses with Wide + UW and better selfie camera than on 5/1 II.

The xz2 compact was the most expensive phone i have ever bought and lasted the least. It had an internal malfunction afer a few months.

About time, Sony. I really miss the Compact model. That said, I wonder how the official spec is going to be. If the camera setup and sensor module remain exactly the same as its much bigger 4K screen variant, that is good enough for me. I definitely don't mind the premium midrange chipset.

Most people who are bashing Sony have never used their phones, mainly the last 1 ii and 5 ii are exceptional phones, they're just not for everybody. They're not your point and shoot smartphone cameras, you have to learn to use them efficiently in order to get the best possible results which are not possible with any other phone even with manual modes.
That + the fact that it shoots photos that are not overprocessed which is the today's norm.

Don't make the compact Sony dont do it..
You'll have to revamp your entire product /supply chain
And sink some serious money
And unlike apple you don't have a massive enough cult level following.. Not like you used to anyways
Only on gsmarena Sony articles there are many comments these commenters are vocal non-buyers

This device would never cost less than 650 dollars.
Only cheap and bad component inside xperia is the Isocell cameras.
Not full of cheap/bad like chinese phones

Will it be using the 21:9 aspect ratio display ? It would be very narrow possibly about 64mm.
