The biggest indication of early flagship release is S20 getting so heavily discounted.
In India, it took ages for even S10 to go cheap, but S20? Well, S20+ was being sold for 50k in the the online sales this Diwali (S10+ launched at 74k, for comparison). This alone tells us that no, Exynos 990 isn't the killa' it was supposed to be.
Samsung "needs" an early flagship launch.... now more than ever. And S21 better be competitive..

For eg, there were time when you search for tft lcd and may not get any results. It's only after several variants of lcds came and people got confused over the terminology several articles appeared and Google indexed them.
Another example is, you can search for tablets with ARM or x86, but not PCs since it's always assumed to be x86 so far. That might change in future and you can search for x86 pc

LTPO is actually developed by Apple themselves and it's being used in their watches (series 4 and onward), with OLEDS made by LG, using Apple's tech and IP. The iPhone 13 will probably use it as well.

LTPS doesn't mean LCD or OLED. It's a process that can be used with both type of panels. Check out the wikipedia article. And marginally more efficient is still more efficient. Why do people around here always need to be so negative and spread misinformation on purpose?

Anonymous, 22 Nov 2020S10e sold poorly compared to 10/10+. It might take the iPhone 12 Mini to be a sales hit, to bring forth a S10e successor (hopefully if such a device manifests, it'll be replete with a 3.5 mm jack :- ) .

LTPO OLED is only marginally more efficient than standard OLED in Samsung Note 20 Ultra vs. S20 Ultra.

Old trick used by Sharp for years.
Drop to 1Hz when static image on screen.
But at least, it works on Sharp phones.
Samsung has failed.
