Anonymous, 24 Nov 2020It is a sign that Apple cannot deliver, implement micro, mi... moreAs most things Apple do, OLED screen have been here from ages ago. Yet it has to be Apple that comes and takes a technology and fixes it, to make it useful and mainstream.
If you re-read this published article, you can appreciate how Apple have found a way to make OLED technology last more, thanks to a new way it has found in rearranging the components.
You might want to ask: Why has to be Apple that has to come to fix this OLED technology to make it longer lasting (so many years since it has been invented)?
Why did not Sony or Samsung fixed or find a solution in their own BEFORE Apple came?
Why Apple is the one that makes existing technologies better?
This is the eternal story with Apple: Apple makes existing technologies better and useful.
Not necessarily invent them all, but make its BETTER, more useful and mainstream.
I love the colors of OLED and have suffered when it broke on my Note 9. I am glad Apple came to fix this beautiful technology and fixes its biggest flaw!

Anonymous, 25 Nov 2020You r rightI love my Note 9. Yet its OLED screen turned Yellow. I know if it were and Apple product, even if was past warranty, they would have change it in an instant for free! (As they had already done some Apple products that had some things).
Before Android existed as a touchscreen OS, Apple, that mind you, never has invented anything, but the Personal Computer (Thanks Woz!), has the merit of not inventing, but giving things already exists have Superpowers and make then useful for the whole humanity.
Most of the world did not use a smartphone until Apple invented the iPhone.
There was Windows Mobile, that anyone trying to connect to a Wifi with it, would agree with me, that rightfully deserves to have the world record as worst human invention to connect to a Wifi ever in the whole history of humankind (A thousands of clicks). Symbian was much better!
But Apple also invented the Mac, and thanks to it we had Windows. A DOS terminal disappeared for the better!
It invented the iPod, and digital music became mainstream.
It invented the iPhone and someone at the Apple board of directors saw the potential, bought Android and now Androids exists. And most people now have smartphones.
There is still no tablets with Apps so perfectly build like iPad apps.
So yes! Apple did not event everything, yet it changed the world for the better so many times, because it makes existing things better, it set a stand high as the sky, and pushed the human race forward!!
So yes. Apple only invented the personal computers. What a shame! (yet, where where the would be without personal computers and just window smartphones?)

First thing he checked for is the build quality. He was satisfied as it was pretty sturdy.
Last time he made me a special request to not gift him cheap products in the future.

No one has tested durability of Tab S6/S7. If you can show me at least one video of the Tab's durability then I'll make the bendable iPad Pro valid.
Until then iPads are the tablets of choice in the market. A tool and choice of the Pro. 👍

It is not only gerry rig, everything apple pro is also not some huge fella but he also managed to bend the ipad pro lile a cracker. Ipad pro bends very easily to a point of no return.compared to the s7 with many plastic covers and many screws on the ipad there is only the frame and the panel holding everything together.
You can make your own reality and searching for excuses but the ipad pro is a very fragile device, there is no other way around it.
