AnonD-923722, 27 Nov 20201. GMS Android - Customization with Google Services and Goo... moreLol your entire argument involves 3yr, 5yr support.
Phones don't magically stop working after support ends.
Plenty of people out there using 5-6 year old Android phones and are pretty happy with it.
Fun part is that those phones can do more than the current implementation of iOS 14.
Companies brag about software support only for marketing purposes.
It's nothing but bragging rights.

Anonymous, 27 Nov 2020Even Android mid range chip better than flagship A14 from Apple. Yes, only in power efficiency, power consumption, throttling, heat management, and cheapness.

Which smartphone OS sh... more1. GMS Android - Customization with Google Services and Google Spyware (Huawei Fanboy terms). 3 years of support
2. IOS - Less customizable. But simple, fast, and efficient. 5 years of support. Apple Spyware.
3. HMS Android/Harmony OS - Customization with no Google services, a bit hard to get apps unless you do workarounds, Huawei spyware. 2 years of support
It all depends on you. I prefer Android. I am currently using my Huawei P20 Pro.
Android have many types. All have 3 years of support
1. Oneplus - Oxygen OS (One UI X Stock Android), customizable, easy use, clean, many features
2. Stock Android - Google, simple to use, least features, Deep integration with Google Assistant, no bloatware
3. One UI - Samsung, very customizable, easy to use, many bloatware, uses a lot of resources.
4. Realme UI/OriginOS /ColorOS - Realme/Vivo/Oppo, before their Android 10 version, they were trash sofwares, but now it is very impressive. They have incredible Customization, many bloatware, very many features, don't eat too much resources, and easy - hard to use.
5. MIUI - Xiaomi. One of the best looking ones. But so many ads ruining your experience (i am fine though), so many features, so many customizations, easy - hard to use.
If you are an average consumer, i suggest get an IOS or GMS android, stay clear of Huawei devices. But if you don't mind taking risks, time, and effort, you can get the Huawei. Since they don't have place to download apps, you need to get them through extra effort like download other app stores and petal search. And not all apps are guaranteed to work well in Huawei HMS android.

if you buy only for performances on paper, shiny reviews and, not uncommon, pride and show-off, you'll end up in buying a hunk of plastic, glass and metal for which you paid too much for how much of it you use.

AnonD-923722, 27 Nov 2020And the thing left is price. Snapdragon 865 and 865+ costs... moreI'd actually guess it's the 8 camera sensors that are the real reason for the price increase. Don't get me wrong, SoCs have become more expensive and will likely have an other go this year (covid, amd(tsmc) and nvidia(samsung + tsmc) having launch issues + intel not really wakeing up), but i'm still not conviced that the phone would cost as much(50-100eur differance) with only 3 camera modules in total (2b+ 1f) and a microsd slot.

That 775G is looking like a beast. 765G was already plenty for casual users, but this improvement puts it at flagship level, above 855+. No need to upgrade further.

And the thing left is price.
Snapdragon 865 and 865+ costs around $160 with the 5G Modem.
Question is : What will be the price of the 875?
My guess is around $200 - $300 with the 5G modem.
At 2018, most flagships are minimal $800 - $1100
At 2020, most flagships are $1000 and up.
Why?because of 865 and 5G.
I wonder the cheapest price of flagships in 2022 will be around $1200 and above. Which means the flagship market will fall and midrange market will rise as it is now.
