Raghu888: yes, youtube is already capable of multimedia streaming..
The simplest way to check, is try it on a friends Iphone - you will be surprised at how much 'just works'..
If you can find a **real, non-hacked** JB phone of course... :) a good site for testing is sorethumbs.keenspot.com - try the clips that are NOT youtube.. :)

John Anock, 16 Aug 2012Hi Android,
The key feature of your phone is Flash suppo... moreGood sarcasm there buddy.
If not...
Really?! Android will lose business in the future because there is one app less in Google's Play Store?
From where did you pull this one I really don't know and don't wanna know!
On a personal note, I think it was too early to remove Flash from the Play Store, becaue there are still many sites made in Flash on the web.
But oh well I happily look forward to a day without that dreaded Flash that got into so many websites!

Hi Android,
The key feature of your phone is Flash support. If not, how android is distinguish from other phones like symbian, windows & other software Ph?
I believe android may loose its commercial business in future.
Sorry....
Personally, I liked windows phones from Nokia as per my criteria but Flash attracted me to buy android.

Seems a bit of a premature move to me. Despite the often raised concerns about flash, I have never heard of a significant security breach on any scale, and the fact is that a vast quantity of content out there is still delivered via Flash and has been for ages on Android.
The much vaunted HTML5 alternative is still not mature enough at this stage. If you opted to join their html5 'trial' (which has been ongoing for an age now) even Youtube can't deliver all it's videos in html5
Also issues around security and quality of delivery exist that need addressing in html5 too.
Why not wait until html5 is actually ready to wow us?
Luckily a guide was posted on gsmarena blog a few weeks ago to get flash working on Jellybean, though I haven't tried it myself yet.

Nav, 15 Aug 2012Do not upgrade to JB if you want to enjoy it.I've updated to JB and Flash is working fine, in facts it seems to be a lot smoother than it was on ICS.

I dont like this at all...
There are still videos on youbute that are flash only... I dont need them on my phone, sure, but I do need them on a tablet.
Some sites still use embedded flash videos.
FOr navigating, thankfully almost no flash stites exist today... But on a stylus equipped phone or tablet, you can actually navigate flash sites.
I say to soon, both to adobe and to Google chrome.
