Man these giant camera islands look so stupid, even the 7T's circle island looks better than this Samsung copycat crap, imo the 8 and 8 Pro had the best looking cameras in 2020 since they're not surrounded by an unnecessary extra piece of glass.
I bet in a year or two OnePlus is gonna release a phone with a stylus to try and copy Samsung's Note line, since it seems like the only ideas they can get are from Samsung's existing catalog.

I always said that I want an excellent, no compromises phones and that I am ready to pay the high price that come with it, it make me laugh when I see other demanding more for less.
But OnePlus still have become a bad brand, it isn't even the phones they do, its their practices, between bloatware, uninstallable softwares and all that.
Their phone just add another level to that.

This is actually EXACTLY because of peoples like YOU that we have a really crappy Smartphone market.

What I am fighting for is DIVERSITY and the chance for EVERYONE to get the device with the feature combo they want.
This mean, having MULTIPLE OPTIONS for intrusive techs.
And since you aren't able to interpret that by yourself, intrusive tech are tech you have no other choices to deal with it, like the punch hole, or the notch, or curved edge display.
Things you can't disable or just ignore if you don't want them.
On the other hand, non intrusive tech have many exemple, the 3.5mm Jack, the IR, NFC are good exemple of that, those are inexpensive, they don't cause anything negative to the phone by their presence, and you can PERFECTLY ignore them by just not using them.
There is NOT A SINGLE REASON to remove non intrusive features, except on phones that directly have a theme where it justify it (special wireless edition, or as cheap as possible where even single penny are really literally taken into consideration) or the phone physically can't have it (extremely thin like the Oppo R5).
Or here is an idea, what if we ditched Bluetooth and kept the 3.5mm Jack ?
I DON'T WANT wireless crap, the HUGE MAJORITY of peoples also don't want that, there are tons of reasons why, and there are also OTHER USES of 3.5mm Jack that the dongle isn't compatible with.
Because YOU like wireless doesn't mean everybody have to deal with your whims and have to pay extra while all they want is something if they need to listen to something without making noise, or like me plug their gaming headset in their phone.
Jack is still one of the TOP standard of professional music industry, if wireless was so great, why aren't they making bluetooth guitars ?
Now stop to be arrogant and egocentric.
The world isn't following you.
Same for the IR, there are many other use of it, including controlling Raspberry Pi or Arduino projects, which is increasingly popular.
You don't know anything about camera obviously.
And yeah, guess what, what I defend, as I said, is diversity, including less curved edge flagships (half of them are and it is way too much), and other body sizes than the current 6.7"~ typical, but what if I did like you and said :
"Get over it, all phones are not big, there is clearly no need for small phones, you can't even type on them, and curved edge displays are clearly the future as more and more phones have them."
Sure you would love this.

Curved display is a disappointment which shows they have not been paying attention. Everyone is asking for flat screen.
Also, further improved camera is a must, i don't see why would they even reveal a new phone with 2 things like this not resolved.

Nobody watch a punch hole or notch front camera in 2021. Pop up or under screen camera only. Full screen like the 7T Pro.

Like EMUI, funtouchOS(OriginOS) and XOS and many other of thos stupidly skinned OS's. They have great hardware, and get over the headphone jack and buy wireless headphones. IR blasters are useless now, just use a tv remote and then the cameras are better because of their software so stop whining and get over it. Altho i wish curved display was gone and the phone was a bit smaller
