People need to stop comparing apple to any android or other companies who make phone chips iOS and apple are on another level it’s not about numbers on the paper or websites it’s about real life I have used new Samsungs against iPhone 7 which is like 5 or 6 years old and iPhone 7 still works preforms better it doesn’t matter if apple chip is less power on the paper in real life preforming is different apple make quality hardware not gimmicks even if the chip is less power it will work much better then anything else because of the quality of the hardware the quality of the software people still don’t get it apple can make 12 megapixel camera that preforms better then other 12 megapixel cameras apple a12 chip still beats any new chips form other manufactures because they just preform better in gaming apps and everything it’s well known but android users or Asian companies will still argue even though they know it’s truth I know the truth hurt but it’s ok just admit it there will be nothing that will be apple in terms of preforming no matter what apple is just top notch quality never have any issues with apple gaming apps I had tons of issues with android no matter what chip in there also you people need to learn is not about the number of the chip it’s about how it’s made the quality of it it’s like comparing a Chinese Bentley to real Bentley which they do have actually copy cars so stop trying to compare to apple you can bring iPhone 8 it still preforms better then any new phone when apple make products they preform as they say but when Samsung and other companies do they never preform as they mention in the paper apple spend so much time on making the hardware and research and you people keep talking about numbers but go ahead play a game run an app do anything like that and let’s see what phone preforms better even if you bring iPhone 8 play games or apps on it will run 100 times better then galaxy s20 or any new phone apple hardware and software is optimized that’s what all these Asian companies fail to realize it not about gimmicks and numbers their products aren’t optimized the apps the games nothing is optimized that’s why apple when apps or games are on the market they work for apple products only because the developers who make these games or apps they make them for apple only and apple focus on the quality of the hardware if it’s camera or something else they don’t do gimmicks that’s why apple make few phones only and sale a lot more then anyone else Samsung and other companies make 30 different phones a year they don’t focus on quality they focus on gimmicks and quality that’s what you all been sold gimmicks you keep bashing apple but apple will never be replaced because the company actually care about what they are making unlike others who push product as much as they can sell cheap expensive doesn’t matter because they push so many different phones to sell it’s like throwing 10 pieces of gums on the wall one of them will stick that’s what these Asian companies do they make 30 different phones to see which one sells but apple make few phones and they know way ahead of time they will outsell because they got confident in their product and don’t let me go about warranty apple got best honoured warranty evert I can go any day to their store and get a new phone with no worries if I have an issue in other hand other companies got no stores of repair or exchange you have to mail your phone and wait months to get it back same as Samsungs in Canada got few stores of repair and they aren’t real samsung stores they are 3d party lol apple got tons of store where people go take their phones for check ups and also don’t let me go about security apple is the safest phone I ever got android in other hands or Asian companies anyone even a little kid can hack your phone but you kids here talk about widgets and none sense that’s why I can never argue about android users because they believe in gimmicks and widgets and none sense and when I talk to android user I always feel like I’m in a daycare watching a 2 year old lol

Comparing a new M1 based on the A14 with a new 8cx v2 based on the now super-old 855 is not representative of the performance of the upcoming 888.
And when I say "super-old", I'm serious. We're on 865Plus at the moment right with the 888 just announced, so that would be 865+ - > 865 -> 855+ -> 855. FOUR generations behind the current latest smartphone chip from the same company!
When the 8cx v2 got announced my disappointment was immersurable. The fact that a Snapdragon 690 is beating this supposedly top-of-the-line laptop ARM chip from the same company in some areas shows just how seriously they're taking the laptop market - hint: not at all. The new 8cx v2 doesn't even support 5G, priced around the same as a Core i7 and doesn't match the perf of an icelake Core i5!

In their test huawei p40+ got score of 177sec while pixel 4a with sd730g got score of 158
If you think sd730g is faster than flagship soc kirin 990 you're stupid like jdk and mrhong

Phone cannot function alone on cpu.
Other hardware also matters.
In real world usage it has proven to be a thermal throttling mess that goes straight into the dustbin of power users.

To be brutally honest, I don't really care about this thing. All I want is to see the Nokia/Microsoft Lumia PureView photo quality with true-to-life natural detail and colour in modern smartphones. Really still struggling to find a proper replacement for the Microsoft Lumia 950 and 950 XL to this day.
