Three new chargers from Apple are also to be expected in 2021.

If AMD had any sense they should have RISC ready to go next year.

Apple had helped a lot by moving away from x86.
RISC/RISC-V is coming.

WOW -> "three new chargers planned" ... WOW.
      I'm in awe.

        OLED and MicroLED were "self-emissive".

SteMa, 02 Dec 2020Sometimes the mini led means it's a led light at every... moreMiniLEDs are full array backlight sources, but it never can be small as a single pixel unless it implemented on a giant TV with low resolution.

You are probably confusing it with microLED.

There are miniLED TVs with much better contrast than any other kind of LCD TV.

First examples of it probably won't ve rival to OLED, but they can improve it contrast ratio beyond traditional LCD's, and in time it can be a viable alternative to OLED, hopefully.

Coupled it with some other tech it can be almost indistinguishable than OLED cheaper and Kore durable.

If Apple is behind it there is hope for it.

AMD is sad.. they push so hard to beat intel.. now they have another mountain to climb.. no time for rest.

Same with microsoft.. they just finish x64.. now they need to compare with rosetta2.

Cool, wonder if the display will be better than the 4k miniLED used in my Creator 17. Doubt it since Apple doesn't use 4k screens.

Personally, I'm waiting for the Quantum Dot Enhanced microLED with IGZO-TFT!

Sometimes the mini led means it's a led light at every subpixel, other times it's a high density full array backlight. So which one is it?
