My adreno 640 device scores higher than 12 pro max in those tests. Its actually much behind in fps and efficiency compared to a14 gpu in game tests done on youtube. Slingshot also has low scores on the mate 40 pro which has a more powerful gpu than adreno 650.
If you look at the new wildlife tests, iphones and huawei are in top positions.

The CPU performance is not the only improvement here. AI and camera image processing is definitely worth a mention here. Our phones have become our prime cameras. I don't even touch a dedicated digital camera anymore!

Now I get that for droid fans 2014 is still considered relevant and all, after all a large number of android devices still run on a software from around that era....haha ba-boom!

You want to try that again, but this time try t... moremaybe u want to re read, i think i was pretty clear, the point is in real world usage/real world comparisons does apple's chip perform worse than snapdragon's, if it does then obviously the geekbench numbers showing it's scoring higher doesn't mean much...but if the games actually are running better on apple's chip then geekbench scores aren't a scam... basically I'm saying they should look at that to get their answer versus argue pointlessly

It always scores Apple's chips ab... moreI’m waiting for the day when an android device tests higher than an any iPhone on Geekbench. Should that ever happen then this ‘it’s a scam’ line will very quickly disappear I bet.
Suddenly, for android fans Geekbench would become the first, last and only word in cpu performance. At least until the next iPhone claws ahead again, then it’ll be be back to the old ‘scam’ bit.
I’m kinda hoping it happens, just so I can be proven right on that.

Anandtech have always been quite willing to critique Apple where they believe it warranted, and if you took the time to read the whole review you see clearly that is the case here as well.
They just happen to know their stuff regarding hardware performance, only about a 1000 times more than you’ll ever likely know.

SizN80, 02 Dec 2020Lol,cute,these are 2019 A13 numbers. You know what is really cute. The A13/14 they are in size 2 times bigger than Snapdragon SOC. What thats means is more transistors, more space for more components Wich means more performance. So what is really cute is with that different in size the SD 888 can achieve those numbers but what is really even more cute is how powerful the GPU is. The A14 score in 3DMark sling shot extreme with metal scores 5576 and my phone with the Adreno 650 using OpenGL 3.1 score 7k+ and the Adreno 660 is 30% faster. So is really cute to see so much performance i a so small package.

Geekbenck is a scam
It always scores Apple's chips above the technological limit, and in real iPhones aren't as powerful as some Android devices.
Let's look at Huawei's Mate 40, score 1000 points in SINGLE CORE and just over 3,000 in full core and far out much more powerful than IPhones with the A14, I believe this fraud should be unmasked in 2021
