    But you can still find cases, mainly thick ones, that still have a protection in the display side, like those two :

    And just think if you often use the phone in landscape mode while using the front camera, this isn't a sarcastic question, some might never do it, while other might do it a lot (video calls for example).

    I largely prefer the bezel over notches and holes, but I prefer pop up for their privacy advantages, otherwise the display appearance itself from the bezel doesn't bother me, in fact I'd take a phone with pop up + Xperia 1/5 II bezels over regular bezel or any holes/notches.

    But yeah, that's why diversity is important, everyone's tastes are different.

Simply because there hasn't been any complaints about them breaking from normal use. Another thing other than difference in instant face unlock are minor inconveniences like the case would have to have a cut out. I use thick cases. cases that protect the front screen. Another minor but one to note is holding the phone in landscape while in bed or playing game might be problem. Might. Other than space in the phone and such I prefer having a small notch or a small top and bottom bezel like the Xperia 1/5 ii. It's personal preferences.

        Proving the Pop up is not a limiting factor in face recognition.

        This is again one of those completely disproven myths about the pop up, along with "wear" problem, "fragility", "moving parts ... want less/reduce ...", "additional point of failure", "water/water resistance/IP rating", "dust" and those other really typical identical and always brought up things that since the first smartphones with pop up came into the market, were almost never a problem and were proven to be extremely reliable tough piece of tech that can endure a lot of things.

        Also, we talk about like 200ms, c'mon what is it with everyone not being able to wait tenths of seconds nowadays ?

I just forgot that the pixels had to be turned off for the selfie cam to work anyway. That makes it all better for privacy since no one can snoop into your selfie cam while your using it without you knowing it since there would be a visible black box on the selfie camera letting you know. If they don't turn off the pixels and still try to snoop they'll just get blasted by the bright screen.

That would be an advantage since anyone trying to look through the selfie camera would just be blasted by the brightness of the screen. The only time you need to use the selfie camera is during face unlock or taking selfies. Unless you record games with the phones selfie cam. Its only the top middle portion of the screen anyway.

                It is a bad idea.

                As I said, what I would have done would be to put two displays, and either having them physically held through a hinge or a flexible material, or simply let them move apart when folding the device, and using, either a "buffer area" or a "third display".
                If a cushioning display tech would be feasible with little durability issues, it would be a great thing to put at their edges.
                Otherwise, an area meant to compensate for any gap if for any reasons (from dust to hinge wear or even temperature) the phone didn't unfold properly.
                Another solution would be to simply have a third, but really narrow display that would simply get in between the two main and serve as an anti gap solution but also as a side display when the device is folded.

                                      ZTE has no service center in UAE, i bought 2 ZTE Axon 10 5G but both are useless now one is going into no service and other is shutdown after i started downloading and both phones are overheating after a little use. I sent an email to them but no reply from ZTE....in this way i cannot trust on ZTE now
