    Or the S20 (not the Plus or Ultra as they have larger display for the same resolution) ?

    I am not a fan of foldable with flexible display, I never understood why they didn't simply have two totally rigid displays that would simply get against each other once "unfolded", with a "buffer layer" to avoiding having a visible gap in the middle, it would have been much better than bending the display, and a heck less complex and expensive !

                        Budget smartphone of the year - Same, too much to choose from and it depends on at which cost one decide each range start/end.

                                Many "POEPOLE" desiring thing that isn't available.
                                Which is why I do what I do :
                                Raising awareness about that.
                                Meanwhile some like you, spend their time wasting all that because they are the actual wasted child one who don't understand that everyone deserve a chance to get what they want, just because you already did and can't accept that it can also happen to someone else.

But if doesn't sell well that product will be axed and continue to push with design that has the highest potential for huge sales. And that doesnt add up with some people's wishes. Also many OEM'S are following the trends established by the bigger players on the market.we can discuss for ages but that doesnt change nothing,most people are ok with what all OEM'S trow at them,and of course the minority sufferers because of that. But hey, let's hope iphone 12 mimi will change the game.

                                        I hope you don't refer to "4.2" "it is cheaper to follow other" !
                                        Because it is only valid if smartphone makers make FEW different phones, in a market where diversity is really a thing, like cars, it is more profitable this way.
                                        And the first brand who make many different smartphone type and styles/options will totally disrupt the market and as long as they respect a minimum their customers they'll take a huge portion of the market away from every other who make only the same phones, because making diversity ALSO mean making the same phones we currently have.
                                        It is not a loss of money to target niches as long as there is enough customers, it is actually a gain as everyone that just buy thing because they haven't got any other choices will hoard this brand like crazy.

                                        Literally at the end of my comment, with my car example, I explained to you how and why.
                                        Also, there is a BIG difference between what the market do and is profitable, and what is good for people and the thing they want, often actually when the market do something, it isn't the best for people, and this is EXACTLY what I try to switch with my comment and EXACTLY what you RUIN with your useless answers (4.1).
