Gaming consoles are not mobile phones where you think about battery life. If two discrete GPU does it better despite slightly high power consumption still benefits the end user. For gaming consoles we need better graphics and faster loading.

Playstation is not smartphone or switch.

    How about just one discrete GPU instead of an SoC. GPU and CPU are so powerful nowadays that you don't need two of them for one device...

    We need more advancements in a single package. Putting two GPUs is just lazy.

          Oh my God just buy a gaming laptop or desktop PC with a controller. Both will be much cheaper than that garbage dual PS5 which will costs several thousands of dollars..
