The outer display will be in the 4" range! Are you kidding! No use of a 4'' inches screen. Then is better to kill the outer screen, and provide only a foldable tablet with 8" or 10" screen. Who will pay ~ $2000 for a thick 7" foldable tablet!
Too bad about the Huawei GMS ban, otherwise it could easily take the entire foldable market. And forget the Xiaomi foldable a cheap version of Samsung Foldable.

I'd take these rumours as rumours. Others say the Z Flip 2 is changing.

Samsung, have you lost your mind.....what is the point of having the Fold 3, people buy it for because they wanted a bigger display so they do not have to carry a tablet.
I was waiting patiently for Fold 3 with S-pen to replace my yearly upgrades of Note series since Note 2. total disappointment, a 7" fold is going to be a flop guaranteed, mark my words!
Do you see many 7" tablet being successful currently? Why would people pay 3 times the price to get a fold when many flagships options already at 6.7-6.8 at much thinner specs compared with a 7" fold at one third the price .

I won't buy anything less than the current screen size. I didn't buy the Fold 2 because of the lack of S-Pen, unfortunately Samsung wants to shrink the size. No thanks, from me.

WTF Samsung? I was hoping that fold 3 will have an even bigger display that my Fold 2! What is the point of killing the main feature of your idea? Having a bigger screen that can fit in your pocket!

Dear Samsung, the main inner display should be at least 8 inch without bezel. There is no use buying a fold device with screen size less than 8 inch , it's better to use normal galaxy note phone if you are decreasing the screen size.

travstr, 04 Dec 2020logically this would create a better aspect ratio overall w... moreYou cant create a usable aspect r as to with 2 folds. You need 3, only issue is that each fold is too thick, for the time being, for that to happen.

Oh no wrong move.
Hey Samsung, the problem with the Fold2 now is not the size of the screen, people are not buying it not because they dont want it but because of the price. Shed a few hundred bucks not screen size.
The idea of having a tablet and a phone is what makes this device unique. Transforming it to a 7" is making it too close to a normal phone (the note 20 ultra is 6.9") and it will kill the 2in1 concept, it will make it a small phone when closed and a bigger phone when open. If anything they should even make it a bit bigger when opened, and not add on productivity.

When samsung solves the issue about the horrible crease on the display where it folds, maybe I will consider a foldable, maybe
