Blackberry 10 os is based on their previous tablet os and the blackberry 10/Tablet os does support android apps. I know this because i am a blackberry fan. The software to repackage an android application to run on a blackberry 10/Tablet device is available from the blackberry developers website and is provided for free.

The Stor... morethey did, but those touchscreens were really really REALLY wack. the touchscreens they are making these days are way better (9860, 9380). the more they produce, the more choice the customer will have and the more they sell

RIM is pretty much dead if it doesnt manage to get developers on their side. Wether people like it or not, the smartphones that have the biggest app ecosystems are the ones that are thriving(IOS, Android). It wont matter if bb10 phones can compare to the top dogs(Dual/Quad cores, HD screens, etc), if there are no apps for it then its over. Same thing happened to nokia, great handsets, but almost no app support. They are betting it all on winphones, just like RIM will bet everything on BB10.

no viber and skype call on bb.....50% users change bb for iphone or android because of that.....
only bbm is great. ....emails work also good on android. ..
can't understand direction of rim. ....21st no skype and viber crazy who need that phone. .......

The storm(s) took a different path in design than traditional (play it safe) approahes but they missed functionality of real Blackberry devices and were just like the othrr offerings in full touch... bad function and bad battery. The latest one (which you seem haven' tried as well) is actually an excellent one. I've lost my faith in blackberry and even were so down that i got an iphone but when the torch 9860 came out it was like gift from heaven : -)) to me. Perfect in all aspects that other great manufacturers seem to forget today... I want a (mobile phone) that is actually smart for my daily use. Simply good signal with emails and browsing features s well as navigation and decent camera all in a package that lasts more than 36 hours (minimum) and has a good large screen in a reasonably priced device. I know Samsung is an excellent company but to get these features in a samsung you need around $400-500 budget and the same goes for apple. Apple will never give you over 24 hours use without a support battery pack with the entioned use. Torch 9860 gives me all that and lasts good 48 hours in a $300 sim-free device!
I know even blackberry users don't like the 9860 that much but honetly, it was the best one I used till this moment.

I love my BB but the screen has always pissed me off! I am glad to see them coming up with stuff. better late than never. let's see if they can save this sinking ship.

setong, 17 Aug 2012from where i am staying, it's like 8 out of 10 people are u... moreMany BB users where i am and every person bar 3 at our gym use BB..I love BB and have never said anything bad about the mexcept they could do with concet hall setting or super surround settin and apps need to be a bit cheaper..Dont forget noone has ever hacked into a BB and Obama uses one..
If they could get back to superb battery life make apps more cheaper cause so many kids use BB they could then afford more apps with pocket money..Make a paid for other mp3 players etc i would return to BB..I know some people with playbook and they love it.

Black Berry Poscher Design looks great, but it's too expensive for me. It costs almost 2000 US$ in my country. I can buy 3 iPhone 4 or 3 Sumsung Galaxy S3 out of this very same amount of money. If it's just a little bit more expensive than those two kinds of phones, I could have bought and used it already...
I hope BB could produce more smart phones in touch screen models in cheaper price than the poscher one.
