I have the Samsung gsr I9103 installed with the ICS 4.0.4 This was a release for china and hong kong,Im In India, It works absolutely fine, Just installed a few hrs back, The looks are fine, but the phone seems little jittery when sliding the call logs and messages.

nia... I have flashed my galaxy r to ics by the method shown at xda forums.... The method definitely works and the rom is stable, and you can even delete large files (even though it was not recommended at the forums). Battery life has definitely increased, and other changes are negligible except the new task manager, though you can even use the original one! Voice search has definitely improved, though we did not get ANY new wallpapers or live wallpapers like galaxy note, AND the camera is still SAME.. No live effects while taking a video. Though we still get face unlock, which IS cool! :D

Just so s***t samsung..havent seen any bad customer support than this..no ics fr galaxy r till nw..shame on samsung..such a loser just competng by makng new phnes nd forgttng others.

after u complete this just follow the steps from the source of this post.
