Also compared to usual headphones build quality and materials are from different level, which of course adding the price. Plastic is cheap and it also feels cheap. Based on early videos these AirPods max are really high build quality. Sound comments we still have to wait, maybe this weekend?

I don't like the 2 separate buttons for volume up/down on my ANC headphones. That dial on the Airpod Max is much better.

So this headphone, dont have switch to turn on/off.
You must put it inside its "BRA" magnetic case to make it turn off.
If not, it will drain the battery even you are not using it.
So complicated to use.

Your comment can only be laughed upon. It doesn't even make any sense, leave alone its significance.
For sake of your senseless logic, let's compare two of my products. My six year old, "China made" OnePlus One is running without any problems yet. While my "not"-made-in-China Nokia 6.1 Plus has got its charging ports replaced three times.
Moreover, OnePlus and Huawei are one of the most well built phones (other from iPhone and Samsung flagships and a few more) that last more than any other devices.
It's about the quality of manufacturing and materials used, not the country.

Wily, 09 Dec 2020These headphones have NINE microphones inside, just to show... moreDynamic head tracking is nothing new and has been around. Some headphones already using it, I think Mobius is one of them.
This is only what apple claimed, whether the ANC is better than Sony is still a question mark. Sound quality is also yet to be confirmed and looking at just using AAC codec, I have doubts it can beat Master & Dynamic M65.

If I'm not mistaken, LDAC doesn't require a SD chip to implement, Apple could adopt it at no costs and bump the sound quality much higher than AAC.

Ennnnggggg!!!! Wromg. Well let’s wait for the reviews but personally would gladly spend my money on those Sony MX4 or even bose than this. What advantage dows it have? Faster pairing with iphone? 😅

Let me guess. This thing wont even have AptX, because Apple think AAC is a great option for high fidelity sound. Pay $600 for headphones with space-tech drivers, then stream garbage quality music them. But who cares, its Apple right? They'll still make millions from people who don't really know what they're paying for.

Modern headphones bring a different kind of experience than audiophile headphones. Audiophile equipment are meant bring a more real sound, whereas most modern headphones tend to be artificial, just like AI camera shots are good for instagram, and are pleasing, but they are not real.

IMHO Microsoft Surface Headphone design is more oldskool and timeless. Apple one is trendy and will gets outdated in 5 years ahead
