If you want to do heavy game with lots of personalized custom configs, just buy an ROG phone + their accessories and call it a day. Their OS-level support for gaming (Armoury Crates app) are also second to none.
iPhone could do some very heavy gaming as well, but tied to out of the box config that means you cannot tweak how you play the game much aside from in-game settings.

Freezing it while torturing it with benchmarks heavy use daily. Movies music videos. I used it as a 2nd phone and for the camera. It took over a year for it to die. And when it did. I called LG support and they said they know about the looping caused by bad solder under the SOC and memory. They have an official recall on the G4, they fixed it for free by replacing the logic board with a revision 2 board that has better solder. The phone has to be in very good condition with no cracks. The phone has to be bought brand new, with proof of purchase. LG gives you a link for a free shipping lable and box. Even though, i bought the LG G4 in mid-2018 and it died in late 2019. They still fixed it for free. It took two weeks there and back but, the phone was fixed and has had no issues. So, its alright to use the phone regularly if it was bought brand new, even off of online retailers like eBay, AMAZON, ect.

Btw iphone is very good if you wanted to livestream your games.

Apple's A bionic chips are faster than Snapdragon but it will change in the future. Personally I used to play games on iPhones and even iPhone X can provide slot of good 60hz experience. But iPhones are not ment for gaming bad for apple because they don't do anything towards it. About Rog phone 3 , I am impressed and amazed how unique this device is and how fluent and functional. I simply love it. I am not going back to apple.

but for the fear of getting it bootlooped, i never put much processing requirement, no internet, no movies just videos got from it, and aware of any sign of heat, good thing the battery can be replaced easilly, this might last really long enough...
as for the v50s, it is still on the list, already told the owner that i might buy it next year (he bought it used but still at about 90% flawless body, a korean variant)
the productivity boost it can bring cannot just be ignored and was put on another level to lg wing... well i am a fan of great devices
some details that bothers me, just to nitpick are the notches and card tray needing an ejector pin, had some bad experiences on nokia 909 and htc 8x with same design, but overall, v50s with dual screen is still inevitable...

pan dv, 14 Dec 2020surely... one of the most underrated phone since the bootlo... moreLast year, i had the LGG4 as a picture taker. And the logic board and SOC became unsoldered. The cheap low temp solder they used was the culprit. Going with the SD808 they thought they could get by with it. (Just a thought). But, the LGG4's 16MP camera and software still takes better photos than even most flagships today. I've done some comparisons. That's not a thought or opinion even though its all subjective but, i've asked over a dozen people to choose a pic from the G4 and other numerous phones and they always choose the G4's photo. As far as the LGv50s, don't be detoured from buying it. It has a fairly nice sized 4000mAh battery with a 3K P-OLED screen that is comparable to 4K, and a very capable Snapdragon 855 that can be overclocked to a SD855+ since it has a custom designed Vapor Chamber (which is the most dense Vapor Chamber i've seen). It works, so no worries of heating or battery degradation. To do this requires ROOT or temp ROOT though, the phone is fine out of the box. I had this mod on mine for about 7 months and nothing has changed with the battery. Using Accubattery to log data. Now that the v50 can be had for $250, its a no brainer. The camera are the same as on the v40 but, alternative software is available. Also, there are some Mk ii Cinema and Camera Pro ports coming into existence for the V-series. But, this is on the modding scene of XDA of course. Can't forget that all of LG's high end phones now have IP68 water resistants and MLT-STD 810G transit drop protection that isn't just anther check ✔ mark on the list. These phones can take a hit and low temperatures with shock resistance. Put one in a Otterbox case and i can guarantee that the V-series of LG's phone will not break. (Within reason). Always nice to see another LGian that gets what LG is trying to do here. If you can find the LGv50s for a decent price, go for it.

controls on one screen and videos on another? Just use the second full-size screen.
I just don't see the appeal of having 2 screens but 1 of them is half-size compared to having 2 screens and each of them is full size.

I used to mock Lg's dual screens until I watched them more in action, tried them and finally started using them.

For instance, when watching YouTube, all the media controls are placed on the second small screen, thus leaving the main screen solely for the video. Same story with mobile gaming like playing car games, the maps will be on the small screen.
So to say that the Wing 5G's only selling point is the flipping display seems unlikely.

it is one of the phones that make 2020 phones fun again... it is not like they thought about swivelling a phone, then thats it... you have no idea how they conceptualized the whole thing... unless you really watched the unveiling, it is all up there, try educating yourself...

Only the charger gets a little warm(as it is supposed to be). After-sales service? Maybe you are one of the unlucky customers. Cuz my experience with customer service in my country was amazing. they were super friendly.

Definitely not useless. It has some usefulness. It is mid range specs, so it won't win any speed tests. But its not boring. Honestly the pop-up camera is nice because I didn't want a notch or hole punch.
