I love my LG Wing. It opens up options and a convenient manner.
Im happy to see LG getting some recognition for a innovative design.

Bruh the Wing is useless. At least the Axon 20 5G has a useful under display camera.

Trust me it is the worst ... I am using rog phone 2 , and it keeps on heating , and it gets switched off during charging and more sometimes it stuck on a blank screen ... .. so overall please be careful while buying this ... Cos the after sales service is poor ...

JDK-Apple haterz suk, 14 Dec 2020And the LG wing's "only" point is the flippi... moreIf Apple launched the LG Wing design, you wouldn't be saying the same thing.
You would call it Trailblazer, revolutionary and what not!!

YUKI93, 13 Dec 2020Mi 10 Ultra is not an innovation, it's just Xiaomi doi... moreAnd the LG wing's "only" point is the flipping display.

All of the other specs are just regular android specs.

Even the pop up cam was done way before.

Not discrediting the LG wing, I'm just pointing out that all of the "trailblazer" phones have 1 fancy part then average specs everywhere else.

1bigwillie, 13 Dec 2020I'm in Malaysia and I own one. I have to disagree with... moreone country doesn't mean it's good in other countries.

BAFLGV40, 14 Dec 2020Finally, someone that gives LG its credit and long overdue ... moresurely... one of the most underrated phone since the bootloop on g4 came, as it was a badly designed hardware (on the chip level)... sadly, some people cannot move on with that and how lg handled the fiasco vs samsung handling the note 7 fiasco...
at my end... i still prefer lg over samsung (never had samsung) due to techs they put into their phones...
i still have lg g4 (the only lg i have for now), revived it this year by risking to buy a battery (initially I thought it got bootlooped)... it still works up to this day, somehow prefers the manual setting over my 1 ii (nokia 909 camera ui is the best imo, but im already growing with 1 ii camera ui)...
considering to buy v50s with its dual screen next year (in the philippines, lg mobile already left like xperia)
why v50s? audio dac, productivity the dual screen presents... but again it became a runner up (when i was deciding to buy this year) since im still bothered by the notch... and coming from 4k uhd ips (z5 premium) it feels like a downgrade... still a consideration, unless v60 and velvet with dual screen is within the next years budget... or even the lg wing... but not lg slide/rollable yet as it will be pricier than the mentioned...

Finally, someone that gives LG its credit and long overdue recognition. LG has had a lot of firsts in the smartphone realm. like the LG G2 to the LG G6 with its thin bezels or the LG v10 with its notch in a 32bit DAC(not a ESS SABRE) and 2Vrms 3.5mm headphone amp. How about the LG V20 being the first out the gate with android 7 beating even the Google Nexus phones at the time. It was also the last to get android 8 sadly....lol. It was also the first phone with a ESS SABRE 32bit qDAC with another 2Vrms 3.5mm headphone jack strong enough to push even a pair of $800-$1200 600Ω Studio quality cans like the Sennheiser HD800's. I know because i have a pair. Also, the LG v20 was the first phone to support BAND 66 (3AWS) which is still widely used by T-Mobile today, and it still works great. We can go all the way back to the LG Optimus G Pro which was the first phone to have a quad core CPU in its SOC (Qualcomm APQ8064T Snapdragon S4 ProQuad-core 1.7 GHz Krait 300 GPU Adreno 320) There are tons more like the LG v40 being the first with 5 cameras. I still have an LG v40 and with the Unlocked version selling for $200 its a steal. Or the v50 for $250. These were $800-$900 phones and have more features than any other phones out there at those price points. LG phone prices drop by up to 70% off there retail price. But, again, the v40 and v50 are great phones for $200-$300. Where else can you get a 6.38-6.4in P-OLED 3K screen (like the ones in all the new 4K120Hz G-SYNC C9 and CX TV's) with color and sharpness adjustments along with resolution options. A camera app with all the bells and whistles for pics and 4K60 video (even on the v40). Audio, we already know, LG has that win in the bag with the 3.5mm 2Vrms headphone jacks with the audio cleaned up by the ESS SABRE 32bit qDAC. Also, flagship SOC's like the SD845 in the v40 which is comparable to the A77 Cores in the SD765G and beats it in games with the Adreno 630 (512ALU's at 710MHz) while the new mid-range is sporting a lesser Adreno 620 (384ALU's). The SD845 at 2.8GHz on the HP cores gets a 2400-2500 multi-core score on Geek Bench 5. That's a good multi-core score. While the LG v50 has the SD855 with a Vapor Chamber, 4000mAh battery and the first with 5G capabilities. Also, the LG V-series phones can be bootloader unlocked and ROOTed. I actually overclocked the SD845 to 2.96GHz with the ROG Phone 1 clock mod and did the same to the LG v50. Basically turning it into a SD855+ phone with the Adreno 640 (768ALU's running at 725MHz or 825MHz like i did and turn the v50 into a gaming beast. The Adreno 640+ is the first GPU to have 1 Teraflop of FP32 compute. That with the thermal.conf.file tweaked so the CPU and GPU doesn't throttle makes this an awesome option. Of course you can get the OnePlus 7T brand new for $350 but you'll sacrifice a bunch of features for that 90Hz Super AM-OLED. LG is a great brand with the best customer service. There also winning the OLED TV wars with there new 4K120 G-SYNC and now Freesync/ VRR. I wanted to get the LG v60 but, its still around $450 new, and the screen resolution went down to 1080p instead of 3K but, you get a 5000mAh battery in place. So it could be a good by. It also has the Snapdragon 865 with the Adreno 650 (1,024ALU's). If you need a nice phone and all you got it $300. You can't go wrong with LG. Yeah, there's a notch but, LG's software does a good job of not letting it get in the way. Well, i hope this comment/story put some new knowledge out there. Have a meryy Christmas and a Happy New Year.

I have a ROG phone 3 (12 GB version), and it loads COD Mobile a second later then IPHONE X MAX (I am not a Apple fan boy, never have been one)

Also, the biggest problem with ROG 3 phone is the black crush which is imminent in the games as well. dunno why it is the best gaming phone

AnonD-923722, 14 Dec 2020Mate 40 Pro can only RAW on main camera? Are you dreaming? ... moresaid the fanboy of all phones... peace...
lg wing and rog 3 also gives decent photos...
though, i love my sony xperia 1 ii (still learning both pro apps) asus zenfone 7 pro gets my approval for auto camera...
been seeing shots of fellow xperia users and i dont get the "bashing" even for auto settings...
basing on my previous experience with nokia 909 (thus having little knowledge on manual camera), i still feel at home with the controls and i cannot deny that i am expecting more from 1 ii (anyway, at least for cinema pro, 4k120fps is coming (played at 24fps, so it is sooo slow)
i also prefer camera ui of my lg g4...
surely, fiddling at the camera settings at first takes time in the beginning... but like i managed on lg g4 and nokia 909, it pays off... at least my human subjects doesnt complain of smiling the whole time before i get the shots...
btw, in the end, let the users decide... doesnt mean you are not into or good at manual settings for camera, you would descredit a cameraphone...
lets just hope that every manufacturer up their game, so buyers win...

I love my ROG phone 2. Unfortunately, it will become an expensive paperweight next month (January 1st, 2020) as US wireless services (T-Mobile for me) will only support VOLTE protocols, which for some reason, are not supported on the ASUS ROG or Zen phones.

Even auto mode on most flagships gives the same or better results than even pro mode on xperia. Who would want to wait to set up an shot? Mate 40 Pro has better light capture than Xperia, it has RYYB, and larger Pixels, and better processing. Wake up already, sony fanboy

probably the most underrated feature of the ROG phones is their ability to map buttons on an external controller to points on a screen. far too many android games don't have controller support and this feature is really great.

ok I'm going to play genshin impact with my xbox controller, lol bye.

My Redmagic 5S can get 673k on Antutu Rog 3 barely passes 630k thats 40,000 more for performance on a gaming phone.

Antutu don't show the RM5 because "its not popular" or nubia didn't pay them to advertise it.

lol all you saps buying Asus thinking its the best.

Legion comes close but nowhere near the support of Asus.
