It's not like apple can just slap face recognition sensors on a phone and call it a day.

It needs neccesary software to make it work, and apple made it's own proprietary software work on the chip. They were the ones that made the technology integration with the chip and the sensors WORK in the size of a smartphone.

Plus that wide pill cutout is worse than a notch because with a notch, at least you can black out the top area. With a pill cutout, you have to black out more area.

              And oi dont think Huawei Harmony OS wont preform excellent outside of china.
              Anywghere where US have no rights they can succeed. And i hope they will.
              US cant controll everything and if they fine other countries for using huawei 5G network is their way how to declare war (something like cold war 60 years ago between US and Russia).
              If 197 excluding USA countries declare trade war and BAN US they will have far more problems than they think.
              At least they will have no money to fuel their army which is the most donated army in the world.

                IOS is working pretty well despite of many bugs with each update and many more bugs after each bug fix.
                Same goes for android or Harmony which is so new that i cannot tell right now how it will preform in next few years.
                Windows in cellphones failed to impress some other OS like Symbian too lets see and wait but i dont think a linux will conquer Google and IOS.

                          I thought the idea of HarmonyOS was that it harmonises across hardware/platforms.

                                Also, I don't think Huawei will succeed with their Harmony OS out of China.
                                Most people around the world are already invested in Google Apps and their integration with people's devices. Soon every gadget, appliance will be integrated via 5g to your phone.
                                Google will play a central role in that integration.

                                I personally won't be using Google. I have play services disabled among other things.
                                But I can't say the same for other folks out there. They'll continue to use Google and giving away their data.

                                    They literally couldn’t copy Apple even more if they tried .... pad os ... I wander where they got that from .... just like their magic book or mate book .... just like their freebuds pro ... just like their health app rings ... ui animations ... etc etc

                                    I get that manufacturers copy features etc but when you can’t even name your products or make your own ui elements it’s just getting shameful

                                        YongSo funny to see people arguing between Huawei and Apple. Just like 6 years ago, people arguing between Samsung and Apple.

                                        Good work Huawei, the market deserve to have new and better OS and create more unforeseen opportunity to the world.
