Don't buy any product from mi... It's really giving problems after one year. Even they Intestinaly upadting device and then it get hangup. Forcefully pushing us to buy new or charging service

In my experience, Kindle is not even comparable to 10 year old tablet of mine. For education, Kindle is really bad as it can't open any complex pdfs, even 1 page handwritten pdf from my iPad written with pencil. So having android makes far more better anyday

Kindle monopoly should breakBut the Kindles are quite cheap compared to this. Amazon integration of the Kindle to their store is very good. I have the 2nd gen Kindle, it's very good.
I don't mind paying around $99 for this 7.8" e-reader ... but I am not paying $165.

Actually it called Xiaomi Duokan Reader Pro in China
Duokan is the biggest online book platform in China,like Amazon in western.
Like Xiaomi,Duokan started by making third party system for Kindle and then got support from Xiaomi.Xiaomi bought the Duokan eventually.
