The OnePlus 8 Pro display is terrible as it breaks after only a few hours of use... It's got a green tint, black bar thing at the top, screen burn in, and black crush.

OnePlus 7 was first good phone from this company.
All the previous were just midranges with 8xx.
None of them were worth it.
Glad OP no longer uses software to boost antutu.

All based on the camera, but not the phone. Useless judgments.!
One does simply not buy oneplus for the camera.!

OnePlus are slipping away, 2020 marked the beginning of the end as they became a much weaker brand.
My OP8 Pro was a stinking turd full of issues that went back after a month, the Oxygen version on Android 11 has lost its purity to ape Samsung.
They're all loser phones now.

I hope Leica cam lenses, LPDDR4x/5 RAM & 5000mAH battery do wonders for OnePlus Nord 2, and to make it a real winner, OnePlus should add the 3.5mm jack, SD card slot, IR, NFC & DLNA to the Nord 2.

OnePlus' biggest mistake this year was drifting away from their brand image. This year they turned into another OPPO with the multitude of midrangers, rather than staying OnePlus with their "flagship killer" mantra.
Still, their flagship OnePlus 8 Pro delivered, and if the rumors about Samsung downgrading their S21 series are correct, then a lot of people will be moving to OnePlus next year. So OnePlus 9 Pro could turn out to be the best specced phone of Q1/Q2. That is if OnePlus doesn't screw up.

This overlooks the fingerprint registration issue on the OP 8 Pro, an issue acknowledged by OP. This is not a minor issue but a huge one and shouldn't be overlooked.
Apart from that I can't complain.

Wow, i guess OP didn't quite do its research on how oneplus started. They're whole brand used to revolve around making budget phones that can battle against flagship phones. Over the years they got carried away with making actual flagship phones for flagship prices but the Nord supposed to get them partly back to their roots...

Also, they need to go back to being more innovative. 7 pro was interesting and different. All these phones have damn near the same design, it's not good.
