The original Moto G used SD400. 7 years ago!

This has to be really, really cheap to be worth picking up.

      Solid performer for 90 euro

How is a member of the G series weaker than the E7 Plus? Are they doing what Samsung did when they ended the J series?

Why do they insist in this low resolution 720p with 6.5" screens?? that means a low 269 ppi which translates into you clearly seeing the pixels, low definition...
720p is only acceptable max 5.5" screens, above that is cr*ap.

What came to my mind is that it could also be a successor to that weird Moto E (2020) without any addition to the name. It would make more sense than a successor to the numbered Moto E line, because those have just been released.

It could also be both, a downgraded Moto G9 Play at a lower price as a successor to the Moto E (2020)

This will for sure be released at a lower starting price than the current G Play. Maybe it could replace the Moto E line, and priced between the two. At least judging from the specs, that would make sense

What are the chances that the Snapdragon 460 is just a placeholder for a pin compatible Snapdragon 465/470 5G? Because Qualcomm promised the announcement of the Snapdragon 4xx 5G chip for the first quarter of 2021 and said that Motorola would bring a Snapdragon 4xx 5G powered device in early 2021.
