Xperia 2011 smartphones get an update, it's still ICS

The ICS-running Xperia 2011 lineup is getting a new 4.0.4 OTA update in the next few days.

      same speed in ICS, better performance, longer battery life, faster internet browsing.

      Stay in GB if you need flash support. because ICS doesn't support flash.

        i very happy with my Ericsson arc and the update 404 boost my love for Sony phone from having 750i 2mp till works great being a photo enthusiastic i know Sony looks brighter than galaxy 11. bravia the best

                    The only thing that made void waranty is unlouck bootloader,
                    Even if you root your phone without unlocking the bootloader, your not void the waranty

                      AnonD-58127, 21 Aug 2012if u want it this bad u can download the update and flash i... moreI'd rather have a working GB phone than a laggy/buggy ICS one but I'm annoyed that Sony (Ericsson) were meant to update this line of phones since March. Being as ICS has been out since October I'd expect the Sony development team to be able to update their phones within a year of the version release.
                      As for flashing the phone myself,if XDA developers can port ICS successfully onto my phone I'd expect Sony themselves to be able to do it too.

                          just updated my ray, the update has a faster and smoother response, so far. but the sms led notification seems not working properly yet. when receiving a message, it blinks once and that's it...anyone experiencing the same thing? good thing the sms pop-up app is still a perfect workaround.

                                    Ics for xperia 2011 are more then enough as long.sony keep providing better update from time to time. Good job.sony.

                                      Thank you Sony, I will consider about Android 4.0. My Xperia still in Gingerbread and I am satisfy with it till now. :-)
